That's ridiculous to set a date by: The number five equals "atonement", the number ten equals "completeness", and the number seventeen equals "heaven".

But since Jesus said to observe the signs in the moon and sun once Israel is a nation that's what I have done to produce the rarest eclipses and rarest earthquakes next to each other to know the 2,520 day period is Sept. 14, 2015 to Aug. 7, 2022. Simple.

You say the Holy Spirit told you all this and then you went and looked at the scriptures and got your proof. Am I correct?



1. It's been said before... How do you know it was not Satan inspiring you rather than the Holy Spirit? Are you sure you could tell the difference? Are you so free of sin that you could not be influenced?

From Shakespeare "Mark you this, Bassanio / The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose."

Why would he want to do this.. obviously to show you as a fool, thus discrediting religion even more.

Something you seem to be doing rather well at.



2. What language are you reading the scriptures in?

Don't you think that it would be more accurate to read them in the original language of the texts. Granted Greek is as good as you will get but... do you speak Greek?




3. Like many others, I would really appreciate a PM with next week's lotto Max (in Canada) numbers. Ask the Holy Spirit... or Satan if you prefer.

The kicker is.. if you could actually predict something like that... many here would be much more amenable to agree that you do have prophetic ability.

Someplace in my files I have two pamphlets titled "88 Reasons Why the Rapture will Occur in 1988" and the other one is titled "On Borrowed Time" which predicted that by 1989 the US would be in a nuclear war with the USSR. (post rapture)

The arguments presented were similar to your first post. "On Borrowed Time" was written by a claimed ex-NASA engineer who I must admit, presented number-crunching every bit as impressive as the numbers in your first post.

The problem is, over two decades have passed. The USSR is gone. No nuclear war with anyone. If anyone got Raptured, you and a lot of others missed the trumpet.

I mean this quite seriously. Stop and re-think what you are saying. Most of the people on this forum have heard all this before. There is nothing new in any of it.

Now - to be fair, Resistible has never claimed that he has been able to predict anything other than the dates presented in this thread. You can't ask a violinist to prove she is a musician by insisting that she play the piano.

From the declaration to rebuild the Temple Nisan 1, 444 BC there are 69 sevens or 173,880 days (69 x 7 x 360) after which Jesus would be cut off. That 173,880th day is March 28, Monday, Nisan 10, 33 AD (Gregorian).

Nisan 10 commences the 4 day inspection of the lamb, March 28, 29, 30, 31.

Jesus was captured Thursday, March 31, 33 AD.

Jesus died on the cross April 1, 33 AD Friday Passover.

Satan calls this day April Fool's Day to mock Jesus.
 
I'll ask this again, since you seem to have missed it the first time.

The Bible says that false prophets will rise in the end times. How do you know you're not one of them? How do you know it's the Holy Spirit giving you these dates and not Satan, or space aliens?

Err... no. That's some bad logic, there. The Rapture is certainly a newer theological notion, but... there's a lot of theology and a lot of Christian beliefs that's aren't supported by the Bible or are only supported by out of context quotations. Reading the Bible, especially with preexisting bias, as a believer does, it can be rare, at best, to actually read the Bible and put these things into a larger, coherent picture, as opposed to just accept thing and move on. There are verses in the Bible that can be twisted to support the Rapture, so... that's all that a supporter of the doctrine needs. It gets even more interesting when you're dealing with doctrines with no basis in the Bible, at all.
 
No way to get to 3rd heaven to the throne but by rapture or to meet the Lord in the air but by rapture.

Understand why Hell exists. Free will would not truly be free if you didn't have the free choice to eternally separate yourself in Hell from your Creator.

Hell is the perfect place for those who want to be separated from their Creator forever!

Seriously, Resistible, are you honestly making this argument? If I strap you to a table and hold a hot iron over your genitals, are you really going to make the "free" choice to be burned?

And make no mistake - one little burn to the genitals is nothing compared to what is described in the Revelation of St John.
