We Are Change Boycotts the Superbowl

and yet, the Superbowl was watched by 33% of all households in the USA. perhaps 50% of the entire country watched the game.

In Canada it garnered an audience which exceeded that for the Stanley Cup.

It was the single most watched TV show in history outstriping the final episode of MASH which had held that title for 27 years.

Wow...it almost plays like a parody. Are they proud of the results? They didn't convince anyone...and most were confused about what they were trying to accomplish by boycotting the Superbowl. Funny stuff.

We Are Change is the most useless political organization imagable. If you tried to think of how a small group could create a hostile feeling without any support, you couldn't think of a better plan than WAC. Apparently even one of its members who is a Truther and posts on JREF feels it is a loser organization.

I have said this before, and members of the forum disagreed, but...WAC is one of these looser right-wing groups whose only model for 'cool' is 1960's left-wing radical groups, like the Weather Underground. They are a sanitized, dorks who have ripped off the talk and the look from the 60s so they can pretend what they're doing has something to do with freedom.

They are of a concern here because they are the ONLY publically active group that supports 911 Truth. They are responsible for every street demonstration you will see these days. While members of groups like CIT stay at home and play with game software, WAC is willing to stand in the rain. They are the group that leaves the impression 911 Truth is not dominated by No Planers, even though almost all the people posting for 911 Truth here or on other forums are No Planers.

I think it's because it's the only way they know how to be rebellious. You don't see SarahPAC or the Teaparty Movement copying 1960s political movements. I think they have no ideas of their own and ripping off the only symbols of rebellion they know about.

I don't say this maliceously, but they are not very bright people. They're not very well read, they don't understand what they read, and the ones who went to university generally went to looser schools. Once in while you'll see someone with a school name you recognize, like Luke Rudowski and Saad Ali, and they think they're big time because Ruusia Today puts them on TV talking about structural engineering and inorganic chemistry. They don't come across with the sophisticated rhetoric and command of English that you find with people like Bernadine Dorn or Angela Davis. I once used the word 'white trash' to describe them because almost all of them teenage, white and male.
