We Are Change Beijing

Scott,
If you'd ever done time in "holding" (I won't glorify it by calling it "jail") you'd never turn anyone in to a dubious police force for simply having different political beliefs. WAC Beijing is a figment of someone's imagination. Someone got an email address on a free email service and thought it would soon cool to say, "Hey, we're in China, man!" What would you report them for? Disagreeing with the accepted version of the 911 tragedies? Being anti-American? That'd sort of be like reporting a radical Islamic website to the government of Iran.

"I'd like to see these guys try this crap in a true authoritarian regime!", is quite different from "I think I'll drop a dime on 'em and see if someone busts 'em up a little."

I'd like them to find out what it really means to live in a place where the government kills people who oppose them.

What an unpleasant thing to say.

No, of course don't turn them in. Anyway, everyone knows that (a) grass is the lowest form of existence.
