The thing is though, it hasn't. Pure free market captialism would cherish the natural world, it's been the government that's been wrecking it.

They got about as close as anyone, but they weren't really to big brother levels. More like "tattletale neighbor kid" or "that one jerky cousin who likes getting you in trouble" status.

Keep soldiering on. You're pretty transparent, but you're nothing if not persistent (AND consistent), and I can appreciate that in a troll. It's something a lot of them lack.

Ttotal crap. On that very basis, the fishing industry was allowed primary input intoo fisheries management, almost to the point that they wrote all the regs. They wouldn't want to harm the resource that they depend on, would they?

They sure as hell did.

Atlantic cod may be, for all practical purposes, extinct.
