voting in Wisconsin is going to be interesting

They can hire the Philadelphia chapter of the Black Panthers to watch the polling stations. They have all the necessary experience and the blessing of the Obama Administration.

Uh, wouldn't the Chicago chapter be closer?

It would probably be better to get the Milwaukee or Madison branches. That way no one can accuse you of giving jobs to out of state thugs.

Is this a joke are you making an accusation here? False tu quoque? ?

I was thinking "slovenly" or "poor," but "black" works too. Most especially black Hispanics. Or anyone who asks for a ballot in any language other than English.

No, no, no. You can't discriminate against black people. They may be citizens. How would you tell the difference between black hispanics and black Americans? But if they are "brown" that's another story.

Not that race has anything to do with this:rolleyes:

Who better to hire than someone with experience? With them stationed at the door, your voting precinct can have Saddam Husein, USSR levels of electoral victory for your chosen candidate.

Remember to Republicans anyone other than an old, white man voting is voter fraud.

This is fishy:
Madison Rep. Brett Hulsey announces late write-in run for governor

MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - State Assembly Democrat Brett Hulsey of Madison says he'll try again to convince voters to elect him as Wisconsin's next governor.

Hulsey said Thursday he'll run as an independent write-in for an election that's just 12 days away.

Hulsey got 16 percent of the vote in August, when he ran in the Democratic gubernatorial primary against Mary Burke.

The latest Marquette poll shows that Burke and Republican Governor Scott Walker share 94 percent of the voters' support -- 47 percent each.

It's way too late for Hulsey to get his name on the ballot -- but he did register as a write-in under a new state law, so his votes will be counted.

At this point, he could only be a spoiler. He ran in the Democratic primary and lost.

Is he being paid to do this? That is incredible.

The Milwaukee fishwrap published a poll yesterday that claimed less than ten percent of Burke's supporters were voting for her because they actually agree with her policies. I can only assume the rest have declared for her because she's not Walker.

From what I've seen (both in person and on this forum) the Walker side probably breaks down roughly the same as far as people voting for actual reasons and people voting against the other person, which is an idiot reason to vote for someone.

Maybe Hulsey thinks he can snipe the election?

Back before the primary results I heard him talk on WPR. My take on him is that he is very liberal, knows the issues well and has some ideas but when it comes to politics and PR he is a clown.

I disagree that it is an idiot reason. Having followed Walker and Wis politics for years I know for a fact that Walker is a lying, corrupt, disaster of a governor. I know significantly less about Burke, but to some extent you can't really know until they get in office and start taking charge. I have 2 choices, one absolutely terrible, and one that seems better than Walker. I'll take my chances and if Burke ends up being terrible then I'll vote her out next time and give someone else a chance.

Sometimes the choice really is the lesser of two evils.
