Volunteering at TAM3. Forum problems - help!

Oh for the ladies, I'd like to point out that Claus isn't too shabby in real life (he was stuffing), and Scott (he's single and he's got a darn good job) is pretty easy on the eyes too. In fact, actually talking to Claus was a highlight of my trip, I really LIKED our pit bull of the forum when I met him.

Mind you, I'm not sure if Electric Monk did any volunteering or not, but he's not too shabby either. (married code talk for "I found him hot"). I know there is all this talk about skepchicks, but these skepdudes aren't bad at all.

I'm not even going to mention Andrew and Mr.Randi.

Could you be persuaded to say something nice about me, too? *cue pleading look*

Why, Chaos! Why do you think I'M volunteering to stuff packets?

So I can meet you and Exarch and all the other hot European (Australian, American, etc.) skepdudes.... the ones I haven't already met (and, like Scott and Larry, are a bit out of my age range), that is.

(Read: packet-stuffing day is Kitten's birthday, so she wants to meet all the European skepdudes in hopes of presents of chocolate from those countries...)

You´re talking about the 12th, aren´t you?

Then you can withdraw your volunteering to stuff packets, because I won´t arrive until about 7:30 PM - at the airport, that is; it´s probably going to be 8:30 or 9:00 before I´m at the hotel and ready to help.

But on the other hand, you´ll have all of registration to flirt with me (and forget about the rest) ;) And you´ll get the chocolate anyway.

Put me down for stuffing packets, just like last year. I liked doing that, and plus, I got to hang out with the cool people that came early.

Well, gee, if Moe is gonna be there...

I am scheduled to arrive Wed. afternoon. Assuming we are not in a holding pattern over the Grand Canyon for hours, like last year, I am ready, willing, and very nearly able.

Well Chaos, I can't promise the skepchicks are still going to be thrilled by your German chocolate after I've already given them a taste of some of the good Belgian stuff ;)
(yes, I mean chocolate, get your mind out of the gutter ;-)

Just been confirmed - we'll be around on the Wednesday and Thursday - count us in if you need help! Or just more people with interesting accents hanging around with envelopes...

I could go for stuffing packets. Though I'm more of a Turkey and Cranberry sauce packet kind of guy.

Is shouting allowed (I can do without grunting much if I can shout)

Yup. That Belgian stuff tends to burn out the taste buds. :D

Skepchicks, don´t believe this guy. "Belgian chocolate" is an oxymoron.

That's not called an oxymoron though. I can't remember what it's called exactly, but you're right, it's one of those things that needen't be mentioned, like "wet water" or "warm heat". It's already implied.

Everything "Belgian" is therefore made of chocolate??

Everything "Belgian" is "Belgian with chocolate"? You don't need to mention the chocolate?

If so, then, yes, everything "Belgian" is made of chocolate... :)

(You are going to get in trouble if you claim that all chocolate is Belgian...)

May I humbly point out that your logic appears to be a little frayed along the edges?

Oh, just to think of what you would do to Interesting Ian, where to present a similarly shaky line of reasoning... (sadly enough, he does, ever so often, but that is another story)

Others may claim that what they have is chocolate ;)

By the way, last years challenge-winner, Sharffenberger or something. Guess what that was made with?

Right, Belgian chocolate ;)

Woohoo! I'm important and popular enough to have a full box! I never would have guessed. All cleared now :)

Too bad the system doesn't tell you that your own box is full
