Video with edited sound, explosions added

Obviously COINTELPRO to make the truthers look bad.

Damn I love our COINTELPRO dept!

Now wait... did the guy who added the explosions think there were bombs or not? If yes, then didn't he wonder why there were no explosions and some had to be added? And if not, then what's he doing?

I don't get it.

It looks like a rescue attempt for the truth-movement. But
a pretty dumb/naive one. Or it was a skeptic whose intention
was to discredit the Twoofers™.

Me too. What was on this guy's mind? Is he so conviced that the WTC towers were brought down by controlled demolitions that he had to fabricate proof?

Well come on, if we suspend disbelief for a second and consider that avery and crew do (or did) believe in the 9/11 grand conspiracy, how is what they did with loose change so much different to what this bozo has done with this video clip?

Of course the truthers will fabricate evidence, because even if they are truly sincere in their beliefs, they know that the evidence is weak to non-existent and without a bit of spin or fabrication it aint going no where.

The ends justify the means etc etc

Just another example of how the truthers are very capable of committing the very acts they would accuse others of.

Didn't the original contain enough sound? One of the best videos showing this "too methodical" collapse. It also shows clearly that the collapse is maybe even 15-20 seconds.

You mean, you can tell this while the camera is running away from the collapse?

Well, don't be so hasty. Maybe this is him:

At 12-13 seconds debris hits the ground, the collapse front if far behind it.

Ever heard about the term extrapolation ? Even the physorg debunkers mentioned 15-20 seconds. I agree with them!

No, I have no glasses, no mustange, no tattoos, no earrings, I'm not old and not ugly.

Um, the point was that the photo is meant to represent someone with "eyes in the back of his head".

Boy, it's not funny when one has to explain a simple joke.

Indeed, I had to left out the word tattoos, but if I thought it was really a man I am also blind...:D The guy could be a kind of redneck truckdriver.

BUt back to subject, it is really a bad thing to fake videos and even the average twoofer with some months twoof-experience sees it is added.

Does anyone know where this footage came from originally. I've heard it came from some "Channel 5" network but it would be nice to be able to pinpoint its origination.

Do you have a link to the original?

Here you go: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5405555553528290546&q=trinity+church

The clip with "explosions" is from the TV movie "Rudy! The Rudy Giuliani Story". The producers used a segment of the Trinity Church video of WTC2 collapsing as a stand-in for the collapse of WTC1. The audio from the TV movie is entirely the creation of the film's sound designers.

The stereo characteristics of the "explosions" clip made it obvious that the audio was not an authentic stereo mic'ed recording, as I explain here. At the time I was of the opinion that the "explosions" clip was probably deliberate fakery by some Twoofer; it turns out that it was (and apparently is) a case of Twoofers being unable to distinguish between Hollywood and reality.

channel 5 is fox WNYW in new york, but pretty much every network was just rebroadcasting the new york affiliate, so i guess it could be any channel 5

Tnx, but is the "Trinity Church" clip the same as the one I posted? It seems to me that there are two alterened video-sequences floating around. Or whre both used in the TV-show?

Unfortunately, I don't know about the origin of the video with the firefighters. I was replying to your reply to EddyK's post about the Trinity video, which appeared to ask for the original of that. Sorry about the confusion.

So we have one definite case of Twoofers representing commercial fiction as evidence, and one apparent case of someone deliberately faking the sound on a video clip. The dividing line between stupidity and outright fraud seems thinner than one would assume.

I always found it a bit suspicious that that video showed up just after we started telling people like 28th Kingdom that a video with explosive sounds might be good evidence. I suspect a dumber-than-average twoofer read that, and said, "I'll show them!"

Dumber-than-average twoofer? Dang, that stupid and they can't operate a can opener, let alone edit a video!
