VfF the Broken Clock and A Million Monkeys typing

Interesting story.

However, what is the connection to VfF?

I've read most of the old threads, but I don't see what this has to do with Anita.

Please enlighten me if I've missed something.

V.

I just went to her page to try and find her rantings but no success. It was something about Vibrational Algebra TM. It was a running joke for so long I can't even remember what the hell it was based on :(

Found it.

There is a small (but great) restaurant chain in Los Angeles called "Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles". Their chicken, and their waffles, are delicious - both separately and together. Not a combination which would ever had occured to me, but was wonderful! I absolutely love fried catfish, so the "Catfish and Waffles" combo sounds like it might be as good as Roscoe's fare!

Every time I ate at Roscoe's I was the only caucasian in the place. Everyone else (other than my wife) was black.

One day when I was in hospital in 2008, two (black) nurses were in my room, talking about their favorite places to eat. One mentioned Roscoe's and the other agreed it was good. I pushed the blankets off of my head and said "Roscoe's? You mean Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles?" They were both surprised I had heard of it. "Are you kidding?" I said. "I love Roscoe's!" and we launched into a discussion of the menu there.

I'm guessing that Fried food and Waffles is a southern thing.

it's actually sort of famous now. I think there is one in Las Vegas as well. Hiro the time traveler from Heroes loves the combo, it's apparently really big in Japan.
