Vaccine/autism CT discussion

The point of conversation is not one step forward and two steps pausing to explain. Childhood diseases are diseases that, before vaccine insanity began, parents expected their children to get and recover from without incident. Polio was not one of them.

WRONG! "Childhood diseases" were diseases that were endemic in the community. Because the adults were mostly immune, the children were the most likely to contract the disease. They got sick, they suffered and many of them died. The "bills of mortality" from any country you choose will show the deaths from these diseases you claim are risk-free.

The medical textbooks and non-medical diaries from other eras will teach you what was thought of these illnesses you scoff at.

http://www.edstephan.org/Graunt/bills.html

When a community is isolated enough that the disease disappears (or was never present), a "childhood disease" can become an epidemic and affect all ages. The measles epidemics that roared across Polynesia are an example.

So "childhood diseases" means something other than "diseases which primarily children get"? How do you figure that?

Because I'm much more intelligent than most here.

AAHHAHAHAH

Childhood diseases are diseases children get during childhood.

There would be no reason for the using the term childhood diseases if it meant ALL the diseases children get.

"diseases which primarily children normally get"

The diseases of CHILDHOOD DISEASES in 1920 would be the same as the CHILDHOOD DISEASES of 1930, 1940, 1950, and 1960. A parent or an adult of those years would say mumps, measles, and chicken pox were the childhood diseases.

You don't need to explain; we got what you are trying to say (although I must admit your posts can be a bit cryptic at times for those of us limited by reality). What you need to do is to provide some evidence, any evidence, for the discredited arguments you have recycled again and again in this thread.

I would love to step forward. Let's start: can you provide any scientific evidence that vaccinations cause autism?

Fascinating! Here I thought you were changing the goalposts by redefining childhood diseases as diseases that were not dangerous, in a transparent attempt to justify your statement that childhood diseases were nothing to worry about. But then you include measles again in the list! Chickenpox and mumps aren't that great either. But measles!?! After all that has been presented to you here in this thread about the danger of measles? Measles safe??

Perhaps it's time for you to change the subject and recycle one of your other discredited arguments.

And an example of this would be not knowing the difference between rubella and measles?

And polio. How is it Clay that pretty much anyone is aware of the age group that polio infected and infects the most other than you. If you would like to provide any data that suggests otherwise, please feel free.

Because I'm much more intelligent than most here.

I have only seen evidence for the contrary. What evidence have you shown for this claim? The same amount you showed for your other specious claims, like the MMR vaccine causing autism? Still looking for that proof, Clay?

AAHHAHAHAH

Well we have something in common. I laughed at your comment too.

Anyone over 50 who can be depended upon to tell the truth will tell you that the term CHILDHOOD DISEASES refers to Measles, Mumps, and Chicken Pox.

Yet you don't seem to know the difference between measles and rubella. I'd have hoped that someone with your mighty intellect might have done at least a teeny tiny bit of research into the diseases being discussed - having some idea of which diseases were being discussed might be a start...

If you don't know what measles and rubella are (or even that they are two different diseases) then how can you expect anyone reading this thread to take any of your comments regarding these diseases seriously? You don't even know what they are but you feel able to give your opinions on them.

I suspect people have mentioned Dunning and Kruger to you before. I suspect they will do so again.

How would you notice?

If you ever make an intelligent statement here regarding medicine or vaccination then I would notice it immediately. I have noticed that you given up any attempt at making an intelligent argument regarding the subject under discussion. Insults are all you have, it's not impressive.

Let's put it this way if child who gets measles is not tended to/treated in a timely manner measles is dangerous.
If child gets an earache and it is not tended to/treated in a timely manner an earache is dangerous.
If child gets an infection and it is not tended to/treated in a timely manner an infection is dangerous.

If anyone gets an earache and it is not tended to/treated in a timely manner an earache is dangerous.

I'm sixty. Measles, German measles, whooping cough, polio, mumps, diphtheria. Those were the diseases of my childhood.

Diphtheria

Diphtheria is a serious bacterial disease that affects the respiratory system or the skin. Respiratory diphtheria causes a sore throat and fever, and sometimes swelling of the neck. In severe cases it can cause a membrane to form over the throat, which results in breathing problems. Cutaneous diphtheria affects the skin, causing infected lesions to form. Diphtheria can lead to coma and death if it goes untreated.

An infected person usually spreads the disease by coughing or sneezing. The person expels droplets containing the diphtheria bacteria, which are then inhaled by another person. The disease is treated by hospitalization and antibiotics.

Diphtheria was once very common in the U.S., with hundreds of thousands of cases occurring every year. Since the introduction of a vaccine in the 1920s, cases of diphtheria in the U.S. have declined greatly, with less than one case reported each year since 2000. But while mandatory vaccines for schoolchildren have gone a long way toward controlling diphtheria in the U.S., the disease is still endemic in many developing countries.

Thank you for stating the obvious. What does that have to do with vaccines causing autism? When are you going to present some evidence of your claim instead of dodging around like the Roadrunner on speed? I would suggest that we all sit back and wait for you to present the evidence.

Rubella is a type of measles hence the name German Measles.

All my friends named Bill have signed a waiver that allows me to not call them by their full proper name.

A few of my friends insisted I sign a contract mandating that I don't call them by their full proper name.

BTW FYI

Since the danger is to unborn babies what's the rush with the vaccine? Why not just require it for every 10 year old girl?

No, it isn't.

Good for you. A little odd, but off topic.

A few of my friends insisted I sign a contract mandating that I don't call them by their full proper name.
Weird, but still off topic.

Because that exposes the kids to 10 years of getting the disease.

Given that you don't know the difference between two genetically-distinct virii, your say-so is worthless. The classification of the disease based upon the age group most afflicted is however more accurate. Polio is a childhood disease.

Rubella is a type of measles hence the name German Measles.
No it isn't and basing that upon the common name cannot claim intellectual superiority over a parsnip let alone people participating on this thread. Look up the viruses and convince me that one is a "type" of the other.

Because children have considerable contact with women of child-bearing age. And vaccination with the current schedule in Western countries has interrupted transmission to the point that there are no or few cases of indigenous CRS. Compared to Japan which does vaccinate older girls only and they have several cases of CRS annually.

I missed the bit about evidence that vaccination causes autism.

I've repeatedly pointed out that tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, of parents have noticed and reported to their physicians that their child regressed to autistic behavior after the child's MMR shot.

That seems to not count like some sort of legal technicality.

Somehow parents who recognize the meaning of hundreds of squeaks, squeals and cries of their baby are not capable of figuring out what event caused their child to regress to autistic behavior?

Read up on Agent Orange. The authorities,US government and Monsanto, fought tooth and nail nay saying the dangerous aftereffects to US Servicemen. US Servicemen were accused lying and accused of being malingerers.

Read up on the Gulf War syndrome.

Anthrax vaccine

Iraq had loaded anthrax, botulinum toxin, and aflatoxin into missiles and artillery shells in preparing for the Gulf War and that[clarification needed][vague] these munitions were deployed to four locations in Iraq.[33] During Operation Desert Storm, 41% of U.S. combat soldiers and 75% of UK combat soldiers were vaccinated against anthrax.[34] Reactions included local skin irritation, some lasting for weeks or months.[35] While the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the vaccine, it never went through large scale clinical trials, unlike most other vaccines in the United States.[36] While recent studies have demonstrated the vaccine’s is highly reactogenic,[37] there is no clear evidence or epidemiological studies on Gulf War veterans linking the vaccine to Gulf War Syndrome. Combining this with the lack of symptoms from current deployments of individuals who have received the vaccine led the Committee on Gulf War Veterans’ Illnesses to conclude that the vaccine is not a likely cause of Gulf War illness for most ill veterans.[6]

Again vets were at first accused of being lying malingerers. Plus many of the GWS victims were vets who weren't even deployed to the GWZ.

What would deployed and non deployed GW vets have in common? Vaccines.
