Vaccine/autism CT discussion

Really? How dangerous, exactly are they? Let's take the polio example since you brought it up. How many people died from the vaccine vs. how many died from polio or were paralyzed by it?

I already answered your polio question in my post before you even raised it!! You ignored it go back and have a look!
No, you did not in fact give any numbers at all to support your vague claim that the polio vaccine is more dangerous than polio itself is.

Now, answer the question, along with "how do you think polio became so rare in developed countries.

Then we can revisit the rest of the crap in your post to which I replied with that question...

The bit you chose to ignore!

What are the chances of getting polio? Practically zero chance of getting it in the U.S. & almost every other country around the world. I think there are only 4 countries that still have it. "The last imported case caused by wild poliovirus into the United States was reported in 1993." - According to the CDChttp://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd-vac/polio/dis-faqs.htm

I didn't ask what the chances were of catching polio. I asked how many died or were permanently paralyzed by polio, vs how many died or were permanently paralyzed by the vaccine.

Do not presume to lecture me on ignoring anything since a) you are wrong, that does not answer the question I posed and b) you continue to ignore most of the corrections you have received from me and others.

But why spend billions of dollors on a vaacine that now no longer is needed?
Who told you it was no longer needed -- unlike, say, smallpox, polio still exists and the only thing keeping us from getting it here is that vaccine.
Why use dangerous preservatives?
Because they aren't dangerous.
And why did that other guy try and argue aluminum is safe??
I used English to explain -- I'm also fluent in French, Spanish, German and am currently learning Mandarin, if you would prefer that I use one of those.

Do you eat American Cheese?

Then you are eating aluminum.

Do you eat legumes?

Then again, you are likely eating aluminum.

Unless distilled, there is aluminum in your drinking water.

Does Mommy cook for you using only cast iron or stainless pots, pans, and utensils?

If not...

Very small amounts, but guess what? The amounts in vaccines are even smaller.

I've noted quite a few times that the proof positive of shenanigans by the scientific/medical/vaccine communities is that in the past 30 years they haven't been able to determine the cause of autism.

I watched the Curiosity TV show on the Science channel. The topic of the show was how a virus attacks a cell and how the body/cell protects you against it.

If science can explain what happens when a cell is attacked the cause of autism should be a snap in comparison.

They seem to narrowing down the field, indeed.
From what I understand, they point to pre-natal causes.

Do you really think polio can't return to the US?

Well, not a snap, but we do know a number of things that *don't* cause autism, and vaccines are on that list -- a number of studies have been cited for you which confirm this.

You hand wave away each and every one.

Part of the problem is that you have convinced yourself that ASD is a single "thing" with a single cause.

Science also cannot tell us what "causes" a number of other things -- and among them are almost all learning and mental disabilities.

What causes gravity?

What causes life to exist?

What causes you to hate Jooos so much?

If we can accurately describe what happens in a cell -- something which can be observed under a microscope, surely these other things which cannot should be a snap, right?

Clayton science is not jsut someone throwing a switch or jiggling around a test tube, it is very complex, multi layered and multi faceted.

The "science should know x by now" argument has been addressed. No fringe reset for Clayton. Claytonbelieving science should work to schedule is tosh. Science is pointing towards causes of conditions on the autism spectrum, just not ones he wants to believe. Because apparently people "onaworldwide scale" done have genes...

What causes Fibromyalgia? Researches haven't been able to pin it down. Must be a conspiracy.

Why don't some of you try drinking the toxins in the shots and see what happens!

Over the past several years, because of an increasing awareness of the theoretical potential for neurotoxicity of putting mercury in vaccines they have started to phase it out somewhat, as explained at the FDA website.

http://www.fda.gov/BiologicsBloodVaccines/SafetyAvailability/VaccineSafety/UCM096228

If there was no "increasing awareness" as they put it (I.e people waking up) it would still be the same today. As it stands they have mostly only lowered the dose or replaced it with something far worse as a preservative.

This was in fact a precautionary prinicple brought about by the realisation that infants may be receiving more thimerosal than was safe. There was a substantial investigation and regulators decided it was best to remove it even though there were no harmful effects found. Subsequent investigations support this as well. There was no replacement as a preservative; manufacturers were simply forced to produce single dose vials.

No one can tell me aluminum is safe for human consumption....

Actually the safety and toxic threshholds are rather well-documented and as has been explained, we safely consume milligrams on a daily basis.

But..... I suspect someone here will say it is!!! Or its safer to have the shot that contains toxins than to risk say getting polio (which is nil).

What are the chances of getting polio? Practically zero chance of getting it in the U.S. & almost every other country around the world. I think there are only 4 countries that still have it. Gosh Rob, I can't imagine how it is that the risk of acquiring polio in most countries is practically nil now and on the verge of being eradicated as smallpox was. Gee, what is that thing that has happened to faciliate that again?

This is the problem really most of these vaccines are dangerous and of no use, presevatives like aluminum and mercury for stuff like polio that does not cause a problem in the western world anymore! But The Big companies make allot of money so lets keep taking them. FINE!:eye-poppi

The problem really is is that people with no knowledge of vaccines and epidemiology think they can comment and raise alarm bells. If you don't even know that aluminium isn't a preservative and how polio has been eliminated from most countries then what makes you think you can offer intelligent insight into vaccines.

Clayton, the hundreds of genes and their interactions for human height have just been partially elucidated by a large collaboration. Human freakin height. Now contrast that with ASD which is a complex, multi-factorial, multi-cause neurological disorder and to think this should be "a snap" is breathtakingly ignorant. Many causes and risk factors have been found such as single gene polymorphisms, paternal age (which increases de novo mutations in the germ line), pre-natal rubella infection, maternal weight and gestational diabetes just to name a few but the anti-vaccinistas wail and gnash their teeth that these can't be valid because they don't involve vaccines.

Going back five or six pages, there was some discussion of VAERS data. I saw a link just now to a paper on analysis of VAERS data: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0264410X12014181

In the end, only 3 (3%) of the AEFI were classified as definitely causally related to vaccine received. Of the remaining AEFI 22 (20%) were classified as probably and 22 (20%) were classified as possibly related to vaccine received; a majority (53%) were classified as either unlikely or unrelated to a vaccine received.
I know the topic has moved on since then but thought that the paper might be of interest to some.

Clayton,
I am honestly thrilled you watched that program! Now you have a better understanding of the immune system and how vaccines work. No snark! I don't think it will change your mind, but maybe you might become a bit more skeptical of what the anti-vax sites are trying to sell you.

Why don't some of you try drinking the toxins in the shots and see what happens!

What you mean is "Why don't you massively overdose on something and see what happens!"

There's water in vaccines. If I drank too much water, I would die. Is water a toxin?

Yes i see a pattern, and yes i see your point. But why spend billions of dollors on a vaacine that now no longer is needed? Why use dangerous preservatives? And why did that other guy try and argue aluminum is safe?? lol

Polio vaccinations will be stopped when polio is eliminated fully from the planet, just as was done for smallpox vaccination. Remember, air travel makes every part of the world within a day trip of any other part of the world.

Omg opps i was wrong@@@!!! This Explains it!

I think you better research both sides in depth without a biased point of view
