Grok is already confused about the 'Havana syndrome' because it's a theme where apparent authorities contradict each other, and alleged "knowledgeable editors" like Len Ber himself are trying to confuse it even more.
I appreciate that Grokipedia mentions the Indies short-tailed cricket, but the limitations of Grok as AI become apparent in a paragraph like this one:
What Grok doesn't grasp is that the alleged directionality was how 'syndrome' victims described the (sometimes actually recorded) sounds. It was how they perceived and interpreted the cricket sounds. The same thing goes for the "pressure sensations or non-auditory symptoms."
I have no idea what is meant by "the precise timing," but it probably refers to the simultaneity of the cricket sounds and the other symptoms, which is not at all surprising: The 'syndrome' victims were scared by the sound of crickets, which is what caused the symptoms, which explains the correlation.
After Patient Zero got the scare going by playing the cricket recordings for his colleagues, other people started having symptoms even without hearing the crickets, e.g. when driving.
However, I doubt that Grok is able to grasp the whole context of this.

It doesn't seem to have anything in common with the 'syndrome', i.e. the alleged attacks on the brains of U.S. diplomats and CIA agents.
I guess the "several capabilities" probably consisted of one or more EMP bombs to disrupt or destroy electronics, much like what might be caused by a very powerful solar flare, combined with LRAD and maybe argon flash bombs to incapacitate guards, soldiers and others.

I assume that the "classic" cases are the ones from Havana, 2016-2017, the ones that people like Relman and Giordano insist were caused by "a foreign adversary wielding a secret weapon," i.e. the cases that Grok and Targeted Individual Len Ber refer to as AHI1 (see post 2,431).
I mentioned and quoted Relman in post 2,436. He is also mentioned and quoted in the WaPo article:
The "experts panel's work" was Relman's second 'syndrome' report. dLong before that, he had already developed a very firm set of conclusions, world view that caused him to become dug in. His vanity will never let him change his mind on this.
As for the Norwegian researcher, he did something very stupid:
I don't think anybody has doubted that microwaves can "affect human biology." The objections to the idea that the Havana cohort of embassy staff and CIA agents have never been that microwaves can't damage human tissue. I can't imagine that somebody who's an actual researcher wouldn't be aware of that. The objections were that microwave damage would be different from the symptoms suffered by the 'syndrome' victims in Havana and elsewhere, not to mention that cellphones couldn't have recorded microwaves and that the recordings turned out to be the mating calls of short-tailed West-Indies crickets.
I also wonder how I have somehow never heard about this Norwegian researcher who has allegedly "earned a reputation as a leading opponent of the theory that directed-energy weapons can cause the type of symptoms associated with AHIs." There aren't so many leading opponents or proponents of 'syndrome' ideas in Scandinavia that it would have been easy for me to overlook this one.
Robert Bartholomew also has no idea who this eccentric researcher might be.
A long interview with the two former CIA officials Patient Zero from the Havana cohort, aka 'Adam', and Mark Polymeropoulos, who didn't hear and record crickets in Havana but instead claims to have suffered a "combat injury" in a hotel room in Moscow.
