You thought Colbert was convincing????

pffft no way, what you don't realize is that Colbert is a conservative pretending to be mocking a conservative, he's deep undercover, as soon as he takes over from Letterman he's going to go all Ayn Rand on America you heard it from me first, it's a complicated scam. The Colbert character is a Poe. People who don't realize that are the exact people he was mocking.

Shocking, but obvious. By portraying an extreme example of conservatism, he paradoxically gains respect for regular conservatives. What is unknown is who has been paying for all of this. Probably Fox News.
Sorry for the derail but this is a lot more important than some yahoos hacking a twitter account.

I would hope that Twitter has some protection against brute force. But I'm not aware of any other method, so it's either that or social engineering as far as I can think. Currently. Off the top of my head. What are the main methods used to hack something like a Twitter account? Are they just running programs that blaze through the most used passwords?
I vaguely recall Obama's Twitter account was hacked by someone who simply guessed the password was a combination of birthdays.

You are sooooo gullible...
Finally, someone here gets the "joey mcgee" persona...I'll chalk this up to you doing the same thing as Colbert, then.
