For those of you who remember, and for that smaller set of you who care, I offered some time ago to replicate John Edward's performance for Gary Schwartz under the same conditions as described in Schwartz's "The Afterlife Experiments."
I e-mailed (to a correct address, finally) Schwartz my comments on January 25th (2004 for the nitpickers out there). On February 13th, I sent the same e-mail to Steve Grenard with a request that he forward it to Schwartz in case Schwartz had accidentally deleted my e-mail or had a filter that eliminated e-mails from unknown addresses.
If you recall, Steve had said he was in contact with Schwartz about my offer and that Schwartz was open to discussion.
It is now a month since the e-mail to Schwartz and two weeks since the e-mail to Steve. No response.
This may mean nothing at all, as I'm sure Professor Schwartz is busy, but I want it in the record that a skeptic has offered to replicate John Edward's performance using non-paranormal means and that the offer has as yet not been addressed.
I think Ersby has also not been contacted regarding his similar offer to replicate the phone reading described in "The Afterlife Experiments" but that's for him to confirm.
