Unidentified Sunken Object

Why do these aliens, who supposedly cross the interstellar void with ease, always have such problems keeping their ships airborne on Earth?

There are many many strange looking "things" on the ocean floor. None that I have ever checked out (dive) were alien in nature. Boats, planes, even cars but no star ships.
NS

When would that have been, exactly?

That's so awesome. That must have been before Delta Force HALO'd him into the Falklands.

Nobody ever brags about being an overweight reservist personnel puke.

I betcha them fellers at the American Legion hall eat that noise up. Might even get your picture in the local paper wearing that trident you bought off a Chinese website.

Hope you'll forgive my asking, but what was your class number, and where did you work, assuming the latter is not classified? I already know the former is not.

Me and Longtabber were about a thousand feet down in the Marianas Trench and we saw a 1989 Mazda RX-7. Had a sweet Kraco tape deck in it, too, but before we could lift it, LT's wrist phone went off and we had to surface so he could fly to Abbottabad.

Oh, Geez. Why didn't the two of you leave a buoy, and go back later? Or at least mark the spot on your GPS!?!?

The funny thing is that the "object" is not an object at all, it's a hole.

That's just what I was thinking!

I was going to say that isn't calling it a "sunken object" begging the question? If it's unidentified, then by definition we don't know whether it was ever once above the water (a necessary condition to become a "sunken" object) or indeed whether or not it's an "object" at all!

Hells Bells I thought nobody was ever gonna ask.:)

BUD/S Class 29 (winter) West coast.

Millenium Falcon.

Bell already beat you there. :D

Traveling through hyperspace ain't like dusting crops! Without precise calculations you could fly right through a star or bounce too close to a supernova, and that would end your trip real quick. Besides, not all space-faring vehicles are equally as maneuverable in atmosphere. You'd be hard-pressed to land a Constitution or Constellation class starship unless you were crashing (they really could use some seating restraints):

Yo Joey
You got what you asked for now please post the answer you get. That way in the future I dont gotta do a short arm inspection every time I want to post on JREF.
Thanks
NS

I certainly will, and thank you for responding. I definitely didn't want to appear rude, but the internet in general and the Bigfoot world in particular seem to attract are disproportionate amount of those claiming "special experience," only to be exposed as complete fabricators living out a fantasy. 9 times out of 10, that's how the story goes.

Cheapens and insults the ones that have BTDT.

When I hear back from my contact, I will be sure to post the response publicly.

Either way, that'll be the end of it with profuse apology from me if your bonafides wash.

UPDATE:

The information provided to me by NavySEAL has been verified. The man is a one-hundred-percent legitimate veteran of the SEALs.

Here's the text of the response I got from Steve Robinson, former Navy SEAL and author:

(I've redacted information I considered to be private.)

You said… “Class 29 (winter) and both forging and hunting fossils”… and that particular combination can only be my dear friend and SEAL Teammate, XXXXXXX… who lives in XXXXXXXXXX. My wife and I were, indeed, guests in his home last year, and we had a fine time hammering in his forge and chasing fossils across the windy terrain of XXXXXXXXX. XXXX and his wife are at the absolute TOP of our friendship list, and my one regret is that our service with the SEAL Teams didn’t overlap and afford me the opportunity to serve shoulder to shoulder with the man! I wish he/we lived a lot closer together!

When next you communicate with him, please tell him I greatly enjoyed sharing his “Jack”!!

That settles it as far as I'm concerned.

NS, I apologize for the flamespray, but we get far more fakers than legit over here.

And for what it's worth, thanks.

Message ends.

Excellent. I only know NavySEAL through the words of a good friend that had nothing but praise to say for him. (and wife) Our mutual friend Cassie is sorely missed, and remembered.

Have to concur with Joey D about this. I've spent far too much time reading the Schannen's POW website, and reading about the fakes, (including one who shares the same name as my oldest son, an actual Ranger.) The real deal doesn't need any more crap from the fakes.
