Hm. So the embarrassing video leak coincided with an attack in which he died? This kind of synchronization could helps with a housecleaning, if that were going on...

Would this not be a form of house cleaning you would support? Or is it the very nature of "house cleaning" that you object to?

Yes, and no. Deserved maybe, but cynical, and likely not for the right reasons.

I note, this guy's been a thug with the (Chechnya murder?) charges known for (years?), but only now is cornered and killed, not while Yanukovych was in power. Something interesting might be at work here.

Maybe it's a conspiracy!

TO THE YOUTUBES!

He was never charged with any murders, only accused by Russian authorities. Wiki is sparse on details, but it seems like an actual investigation into the accusations began in March of this year? Is that right?

Would Yankie move on the guy without any evidence, and on behalf of Russia? Even if the accusations are true (and I wouldn't doubt it in the least), side stepping the law to go after someone Russia had a beef with seems like it would have been a bad idea.

He removed himself. The remaining parliament worked with what they had and voted to impeach.

False

It was a parliament voting unanimously to impeach the president.

And they didn't follow procedure.

He removed himself from office and barely attempted to reclaim his post nor did Putin seek to reinstall him.

False

No of course because the Parliament voted unanimously to impeach him.

Didn't meet the necessary requirements.

Sounds like your kind of a guy

I'm not pro Russian, pro Putin, pro western, Pro Chinese or whatever...if I do have any bias then it's probably towards Iran.

I think Putin is a dick like all politicians in power or vying for power, however he is actions are an attempt to retain or spread Russian influence in the world. No different to how other countries operate. I really don't give a **** either way i'm rather indifferent to it all.

I just call it how I see it and attempt to do so fairly, I see both sides churning out propaganda and disinformation as is always the case.

Nope, not false.

And they didn't follow procedure.

They did the best they could, and the vote had democratic legitimacy.

Nope not false.

Didn't meet the necessary requirements.

Doesn't really matter, as they did the best they could and the vote had democratic legitimacy.

Will be interesting to see what happens next. Will Parubiy (Nazi) send his "National Guard" against the Right Sektor? Doubtful, as there is a huge overlap between the two. Are the rumours correct that Yats hired "blackwater" mercenaries and will he send them? Other rumours say that Yanukovych is back in Charkow and plots his come back.

Yesterday a bunch of other Right Sektor guys were arrested after the mentioned death threats against the Interior minister, and this evening "they" stormed/surrounded the parliament. Livestream here. According to the records of a few hours ago, this was/is huge, whatever the details. Huge crowds.

edit:

edit2:
Or is this a reaction to the "interim" parliament under bankster puppet Yats selling them out to the IMF?

edit3:
No, this was indeed about Muzychko and the demands for the resignation of the Interior minister Avakov, as this statement shows. In closing they say that they (autotranslated) "oppose seizure of parliament" and "held back". Lucky Yats, eh?

Best isn't good enough. It was not legal. That's the end of it.

Nope, not false

Yes it is.

Doesn't really matter, as they did the best they could and the vote had democratic legitimacy.

Best they could do doesn't exactly cut it when law is involved.

And you're just eating it up.

Yeah because that's i'm the one defending an illegal coup.

No, it's not. It had democratic legitimacy. That's all that really matters.

No, it isn't.

Democratic legitimacy.

It was a popular rebellion, not a coup.

I have moved the response from the other thread here.

Thanks, GnaGnaMan. Saved me the trouble.

Won't stop the dictator-lovers from crying "but... but... ten votes..."

So wait...now you've shifted the goal posts and dressed your argument in a different manner. Now was is suddenly irrelevant.

Here are some facts
Yankkovych was legally elected. The elections were praised as free and fair. Nothing dubious about it. It was a democratically legitimate government. It was overthrown in an illegal manner. This internal matter has been interfered with on both sides since day one. Don't believe me?

Russia has annexed another countries territory.

Russia has violated international law and the law of the country it has invaded.

The fig leaf of an illegal referendum has been declared illegal by the UN General Assembly

Russia is clearly an aggressor nation and a rogue state

False, as I have shown time and time again. You are now offering nothing of substance in return now that you've been proved wrong.

It was a popular rebellion, not a coup.

Popular in western Ukraine, not all of Ukraine.

Where they? Please provide evidence for this assertion. Or are you saying Putin praised them as free and fair?

Take your pick.

On the contrary.

Really? Show me otherwise which disproves EU approval and International observers approving the election.

By Russia. The West has done precious little to help the Ukrainians. Hopefully that's about to change. The West needs to do more to assist them if anything.

LOL.

No I don't, no matter how many youtube videos are thrown up.

Remain ignorant, retain your pro western bias.

As I said to Bama who posted the same link but did not respond after.

Paet advises Leak phone call is real, disputes context.

http://news.err.ee/v/politics/bb8da3...f-259c6acf45d1

Nowhere Urmas Paet said that "snipers who shot at protesters and police in Kiev were hired by Maidan leaders." Nowhere. It's just RT that said it. Their words.

Urmas Paet didn't say that snipers who shot at protesters and police in Kiev were hired by Maidan leaders.

If you listen to the whole conversation and the context you will hear that he is talking about rumours. They discuss a rumour that snipers were shooting from both sides with the same type of bullets, that there is a concern that the new coalition doesn't want to investigate and there is now a suspicion that someone from the new coalition could be behind the snipers. At this Ashton says that "I think that we do want to investigate."

And I it very well might apt to investigate such rumour

At this stage it's nothing more than conspiracy theory.

Shock horror!, Paet back steps in an attempt to cover his ass...Did I mention Maidan in my quote? No I did not.

The Guardian

"So she also showed me some photos, she said that as medical doctor, she can say it is the same handwriting, the same type of bullets, and it's really disturbing that now the new coalition, that they don't want to investigate what exactly happened."
"So there is a stronger and stronger understanding that behind snipers it was not Yanukovych, it was somebody from the new coalition," Paet says.
Ashton replies: "I think we do want to investigate. I didn't pick that up, that's interesting. Gosh," Ashton says."

You sir have lost.

Best isn't good enough. It was not legal. That's the end of it.

(...)

Yeah because that's i'm the one defending an illegal coup.

On the one hand, you're declaring a coup illegal, because it hasn't followed all constitutional provisions to your irrelevant understanding, but on the other had I haven't heard you speak out against the clearly illegal and falsified referendum in Crimea. You also accuse many of us of some imaginary bias.

Poe or troll?

False, as I have shown time and time again. You are now offering nothing of substance in return now that you've been proved wrong.

You haven't proven anything. The vote had democratic legitimacy.

Popular in western Ukraine, not all of Ukraine.

Popular in Ukraine.

Fair enough.

Really? Show me otherwise which disproves EU approval and International observers approving the election.

No, you are right.

Are you going to start this childishness again?

Remain ignorant, retain your pro western bias.

Remain ignorant, retain your pro-Russia bias.

We're discussing this particular conspiracy theory where it belongs - in the conspiracy forum. You're welcome to join us.

You sir have lost.

How very mature.

I'm reasonably certain Yanukovich comitted high treason today:

"As the President whose thoughts and heart are together with you, I call on each reasonable citizen of Ukraine -- don't let the impostors use you! Demand a referendum on the determination of the status of each region within Ukraine," Yanukovych said, in what the news agency said was an address to the Ukrainian people.

http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/28/world/europe/ukraine-crisis/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

He's essentially trying to tear the country apart, so Russia could carve out pieces for itself. This is basically a textbook case of high treason. He clearly broke the oath of office well before Euromaidan protests even began, and was in service of a foreign power. A hostile foreign power, as it be.

In the light of this, I'm pretty sure it's irrelevant how proper his ouster was.
