UFOs: The Research, the Evidence

The gods theory is all well and good but it's too broad. These can't be just any old god floating around. These guys are veerry sneaky. Ergo, only a trickster god is the only one that could pull these things off.

I could support someone like Loki, but I really prefer Coyote. He occurs almost everywhere in the western US, southern Canada and northern Mexico. There is of course Raven in the Washington- B.C. coastal area, but I "believe" that was really Coyote in disguise. He can shape shift, you know. And he is Wily.

as far as the records go, all those gods are common era only, so can't be responsible for the accredited and fully supported claims for flying gods in the ancient world.
so pick again, looking for a trickster God who has control over atmospheric phenomena (a good symbol that indicates this would be a thunderbolt held in the hand), probably gonna have to look for a dragon connection as well as dragons are also traditionally blamed for atmospheric eccentrcities

so youre looking for an ancient world trickster God A.S.S.ociated with a dragon

good luck on your search
;)

Here is graphic evidence of Thor in his chariot with Loke as passenger.

I believe we can stop all those WAG theories about other gods or aliens now.

this is Bel Marduk on his flying dragon

look hes holding a thunderbolt
and unlike your modern repro comic book, this is an original ancient world depiction
beat that
:p

You are obviously a victim of the ancient wisdom fallacy. :D

Do you really think some old depiction like that can beat modern well researched artwork?

I'll make a deal with you mate.

If they don't respond this time, I'll start posting evidence that they're gods myself.

I can fake much better evidence than Rramjet's witnesses, in full colour and with focus.

Any particular god you'd like to attribute the UFOs to, or will we go with a pantheon arrangement? That would probably account for the different configurations of ships that we see.

I guess the Teheran thing would obviously have been allah, but I'm not sure about the local gods in the Rogue River area. Little help?

Please do the IPU. I've always wondered what shade of pink invisible is.

yes
and so did the Assyrians
marduk_and_tiamat.gif

this one shows the same thing but 1000 years later

so thats two ancient world references from two different cultures that support my nomination and none for yours

I can't wait for that old hack Akhenaten to start putting the Aten forward as his nominee, my retort is already primed
:p

Also.........

The US military performed studies and actually concluded that pink made for an outstanding low-visibility color, but only the Brits actually implemented this idea, on their high-altitude recon aircraft

Given the various characteristics attributed to the IPU over the years, I think the IPU falls fairly under the classification of gods for purposes of this discussion. And given the amount and quality of evidence provided so far in a failed attempt to support the claim that aliens exist, we can at least equally claim the "evidence" supports the notion that the IPU accounts for at least some UFO sightings.

Here is one of Loke in a feather/bird suit on his way to Jotunheim.

That is two different gods flying both together and separately.
thats another modern depiction, remember youre supposed to be nominating Gods with supporting evidence that they could be responsible for all ancient sightings as well as those after (in your case) 700CE

nothing you've nommed so far is even qualified
:p

Here is a picture with Odin riding across the sky on his 8 legged horse, below is one of the ship shaped vessels with his retainers.

This is a clear explanation for sightings of multiple UFO's

only if they look like 8 legged horses and your problem with that is that the first civilisation to utilise horses wasn't norse, but Mesopotamian, so Odin at the very least must have borrowed them from Bel, Bel Marduk already has ships covered thanks, got about a million ancient pictures that support that one. But then we all remember quite clearly don't we that he must have needed a flying ship to attack the flying dragon Tiamat.

and again, this is a common era description (not even a thousand years old), so not even remotely quailified

How many UFO reports are more than 50 years old??

Why these desperate attempts to credit old worn out gods with something better ascribed to younger vibrant ones like the norse??
:D:D:D

riiiight, these'll be the gods of yours that didn't make it to their 500th birthday before they got canned then,
:D

What is that thing anyway? I liked the rear-vision mirror that someone proposed earlier, but Óðinn's pics above remind me more of a shower head.

ETA: Hi Dockie!

Hello Mr Pharaoh.

Let's hope the shower heads are water efficient ones.
