UFOs sighted in Mar del Plata, Argentina

I travel to this city everyday, in Argentina, and I just heard on the news that some people saw "OVNIS" (Spanish for UFOs) over the sea.

"It was like a tubular thing that flashed at random, leaving a trail behind. It flashed for a while, then dissappeared."

Hmm... Sounds like a plane to me.

I'll get a link when I can, but this is not the first time, unfortunately. More "UFOs" were sighted in the previous years, and so on.

Until someone identifies it, I guess it is an unidentified flying object - to the observers. Any pictures?

Could be a bright meteor (they leave trails and look tubular as they move through the sky) but there is nothing to base this on other than the brief description. Time and duration might help.

Sorry for the bumping, I just wanted to update and say that the media stopped giving a dime about the UFO situation, mostly because of the lack of evidence.

Wonder if it was like this one from last year.
