UFO'S: A possible explanation

Heya guys. I went to see the new Transformer movie! Boy, if any of you have seen it, you should have to consider what we define as "Alien"

Oh come on... Why is this posted here?

I know this is a joke to a great many of you, but can we at least try to be a little serious?

well thats not a question is it, its an invitation to a lecture. I know everything about their "emergence" story. I even know you don't call it a creation story. How stunning is my knowledge
:D
but youre asking too general a quesion, Taiowa instructed Sotuknang to create humanity which he did with the help of Kokyangwuti, what specifically is the question you want answered because obviously if you haven't studied Hopi then nothing I can say is going to have much meaning to someone who thinks they know all about it because they have studied ufo's

your question is meaningless, if you asked it of a christian theyd direct you to the bible, there is no equivalent Hopi text...

but come on, you must have thought the Hopi bowl joke was funny
:p

AHEEM... Marduk,

Who were "Taiowa, Sotuknang, and Kokyngwuti", and where did they come from? Who made 'them', or rather from whence did they 'emerge'?

The Caddo Indians have an emergence tale. Supposedly, they all came out of a cave... I met a guy who was looking for this cave as if were a real place. I'll bet we'll all hear about it, if he ever finds it.

Is "Taiowa" 'the' God, to the Hopi?

Where does he live?

The link you provided didn't say.

and you were incapable of finding out for yourself that Taiowa is a solar deity ?

why is that even relevant to U.F.O's, are you going to claim now that the sun is a ufo ?
:D

The point friend, is that the Hopi did NOT 'know'/see/measure their creator either. They knew 'of' him/she/they, AND that they existed 'not on Earth'...

Taiowa was a "solar deity"...?

Meaning that he was among the stars, or that he rules over the Sun and all it's planets?

What 'form' do the Hopi believe Taiowa takes?

That is not a point, its just a demonstration once again that you don't know what youre talking about, its quite natural to worship the sun as a God, everyone did it, the main reason they did it was because the sun is pretty easy to spot, they also believed that Taiowa could take human form, he is never described as anything even remotely ufoish
to claim that solar deities were worshipped because people didn't know what it was is just wrong, and unsupportable

until the modern period people didn't know what planets were, they were just stars that moved differently.

kinda obvious

I am kind of serious on this one: If aliens were here, They could either leave very little evidence behind on land, and could still be seen by millions. In other words: Aliens could do whatever the hell they want! Who are we to judge on Alien life?

Transformers is more realistic than having Biological organisms visiting us. Machines/nanobots can be designed to be stronger, smarter, more consistent than man.

Maybe, maybe not. As I said, "read some of the SF published over the last 70 years".

Nah, its ok. I enjoy looking up Joel Hagen's speculative aliens, and also enjoy Jack Cohens models. While there aliens behavior is not described very well, their lack of technology and civilizations would outnumber that of alien civilizations.

Thank you.

To the Hopi, the Sun, WAS an unidentified 'flying' object...

...that they worshipped.

WE know it is just a star, that isn't God, and that we need not worship it.

You JUST said they thought the Sun could take human form...then you write:

"...to claim that solar deities were worshipped because people didn't know what it was is just wrong, and unsupportable"

WHAT???

So, the Sun CAN take human form, and it ISN'T a star, but THE actual God of Creation??

Clearly, you have all the rope you need...*insert roll eyes icon here*
