I'm quite new to Twitter, and this is also going to be my first TAM. Looking forward to meeting you all.

By the way, I've been following @TAMinfo for a few days now but it hasn't followed me back yet. I notice there's a discrepancy between the number of followers and the number of people that account follows, so I assume there are other people with the same problem?

I have the same thing. It might be because it isn't turned on yet.
 
As I said at the beginning of this whole mess, the GroupTweet function will be turned on shortly before the start of TAM. Soon...

I've noticed the #TAM9 hashtag is starting to get quite a workout...woo-hoo! It's almost here!
 
The GroupTweet feature is now turned on for TAM9!

Remember:

1) This is ONLY for tweeting about after-hour social activity.

2) Don't know how to use it? Go back to the beginning of this thread and start reading. It's very easy.

One final thing:

The auto-follow service I was using no longer works and I haven't been able to find a free replacement. It looks like I'll have to do this manually, so there will be a delay between when you follow TAMinfo and when it follows you back. Remember, until that account follows you back you won't be able to post to the group.
