There was a different #covidorigin -related release later yesterday, by a departing Tulsi Gabbard. Will do a thread or post but, in short:If this is the best they had, they really have nothing. And they tried to smear Fauci with lies debunked by their own documents.

I don't think it's ever been disputed that the US provided some funding to the Wuhan lab. Given the number of viruses that emerge from that part of the world, any one of which could lead to a global pandemic, and the world class work being done there to study such viruses, it was a very sensible use of US taxpayers' money.

Wouldn't she just pass the information on to the FBI?

So laboratories doing medical / biological research round the world are under suspicion. No evidence that they have done anything wrong. The laboratory in Ukraine might be vulnerable to being seized by Russia; it wouldn't be if the executive supported Ukraine as opposed to Russia. Yes, bio labs in africa will be working with pathogens, because high risk pathogens like Ebola (or HIV) are clearly the priority for research.
