Truthers - Let's talk U93 phone calls

Fair enough.
My next example doesn't involve relatives you'll be glad to know.

One of my favorite research subjects is the Titanic. Quite a few people sailing on that ship had a feeling of impending disaster, and did unusual things even before they boarded the ship. I read that a few even wrote or altered wills before they sailed, numerous things were done/said to help their families in case they were lost at sea.

Is this evidence for a conspiracy, this perfectly normal human behavior?

Why would someone have to blow up a safe little gray rabbit?

You don't believe in voice morphing little grey rabbit? I'm proud of you :)....now keep using that little grey brain of yours little grey rabbit and soon you won't believe in any of the truth movements fantasies...I hope you can do that little grey rabbit.

He doesn't now; he's merely trolling here.

Do you have any figures on the numbers who changed their will before the Titanic's voyage and a control group - such as the Olympia?

I think he's saying that it's normal to worry about what might happen on a trip across the ocean, but these normal actions are blown out of proportion on the rare occassions that a disaster actually occurs.

I'm not doing your research for you. Check out a book called Titanic Voices. There's lots of information in there

This thread isn't about the Titanic. It's about the phone calls from flight 93. LGR, I know you'd prefer to bog the discussion down in irrelevant minutiae instead of dealing with very compelling evidence that flight 93 was being hijacked, but deal with it.

Do you have any evidence that any of those phone calls were faked? If not, how do you explain them in the context of somebody who doesn't believe hijackings took place?

I actually agree with you there...

I think most of the truthers still posting here are simply trolls and are not, in fact, actual truthers.

Which is why I keep hauling out the troll photos.

There's just no point to arguing anymore.

I see three possible explanations

1. The calls took place as stated
2. Relatives made false claims about calls taking place
3. A mixture of 1 and 2.

I really don't care much one way or the other - unless you can give me the archival holding and reference number of the pathological investigation and body recovery from Shanksville.

Then I might be interested in discussing it a bit deeper.

It's number 1, both the alternatives accuse family members of lying.

Is keeping wills in combination safes normal in America? I have never known anyone to have a combination safe myself - although perhaps it is not information you broadcast casually.

Where I come from most people leave their wills with the lawyer who drew it up.

1. What do you think your lawyer keeps that kind of thing in? Hint: A fire safe, normally.

2. Are you suggesting that they made-up the reference to a safe?

Yep. But, to be completely fair, it was always difficult to tell the two apart.

Two copies of my will, both in separate safes. No option to leave with the lawyer who drew it up.

But I don't believe in little grey rabbits.

Dunno, I am not a lawyer. I presume it varies between practices.

In any case if it was the lawyer's safe why would Ms Groenland have known the combination?

Confused.

Since you are claiming that evidence was potentially falsified, it is up to YOU to get the "archival holding and reference number of the pathological investigation and body recovery from Shanksville".

Yea, I'm sure you don't care much one way or the other; this phone evidence is very much contrary to your position. You HAVE to ignore it or minimize its importance to you to protect your world view. The truth is, the phone calls are VERY important, but they are only a portion of the preponderance of evidence that points right to the commonly-held narrative.

Is this an American thing? As I said, I have never known anyone to have a safe.

I think it is common in Australia to store your will with the Public Trustee (run by the state governments). Don't you have something similar in the US of A?
