Truthers are Troublemakers...

Sounds, not explosives. You have evidnece of sound, not explosives.:boggled::boggled::boggled::boggled::boggled::boggled::boggled::boggled::boggled: Boom, no CD on 911, just idiots in 911 truth who can't do physics, math, and more. What was your point about people reporting sounds? Do you have a point after 9 years of failing to figure out 911?

Do you mean like these?

"Sounded like explosions." –Anthony Fitzgerald
"Like a shotgun going off" –Mark Meier
"Sounded like explosions" –Wilfred Barriere
""Sounded like an explosion" –John Morabito
"There were lots of explosions" –Jeff Birnbaum
"Under the assumption that the sounds were secondary bombs." –Andrew Rodriguez
"Sounded like bombs. Like a bomb going off. I mean, it was huge." –FDNY Deputy Chief Peter Hayden
"Sounded like bombs, like blockbusters" –John Murray
"You could hear explosions" –Richard Smiouskas
"Sounded like an M-80, that's how loud they were" –Tim Pearson
"Sounds like a shotgun" –Eric Ronningen
"Sounded like bombs" –Keith Murphy
"A huge explosion" –Gerard Gorman
"Sound of popping and exploding" –Alwish Monchery
"Explosions" –William Burns
"Kept hearing these large boom, boom" –Rosario Terranova

... , you think these were explosives bringing down the WTC?

Either that or the after effects of a very powerfull bean soup presented during a after work party for employees the day before.

That's very NISTian Sarge. It sounds just like what the NIST spokesman told the reporter (Paraphrased)

'Why would we look for evidence of explosives when we already know that there were none ? '

Air was being sampled. They found all sorts of nasty stuff, but not exhaust products of HE. They found no explosive-damaged steel.

What did you think they would test? Would they swab undaaged steel? I think not.

Here are 37 fire fighter testimonies to start with:

http://911review.com/coverup/oralhistories.html

I was too modest. There are 503 testimonies, including others than fire fighters:
Yeah, well, explosions or explosive sounds are not always proof of high explosives. Steel and concrete failing under heavy stress sound rather bomb-like.

Some of the explosions were clearly back drafts, like those in the basement. Karen Deshore spoke of exploding gas tanks and an idiot theologian made that proof of bombs. What a waste of neural tissue.

Nothing that any of the fire fighters said indicates to a fire fighter with all his headbolts torqued right that there were bombs in the buildings.

This is when a clue what a simile is, comes in handy.

Those were sounds of bodies hitting the ground or structures. You failed for over 9 years to understand 911, there were zero sounds of explosives on 911. Do you have delusion of CD?

I think I can sum it up nicely:

Truthers: Just asking questions... but ignoring all the answers.

I find it amazing from the many non-issues raised by 9/11 Truthers, they could address a legitimate issue of the bodies falling out of the towers! I have heard those testimonies MANY MANY times about explosives and it has been taken out of context MANY MANY times... so, without further ado... let's give some clarification as to what fire and rescue were actually at witness to that day, shall we?

**AHEM**

So, you know how this list keeps popping up with various names such as Keith Murphy, Rosario Terranova, Jeff Birnbaum, and Chief Peter Hayden to name a few? Their general statement was that they heard WHAT SOUNDED LIKE bombs or explosions going off, right? These specific accounts were descriptions of bodies hitting the ground. Yet, as Truthers will do, they will misrepresent every eyewitness account.

No one who has heard high explosives cutting steel will ever mistake the range of other "sounds which sound like explosives" for steel cutting HE.

Which is why most of the truther claims for steel cutting explosions are so pathetic. They simply do not know what they are talking about.

I think a simple statement would be to tell Truthers to simply KNOCK IT OFF! Other members of JREF have suggested just ignoring them which is another excellent idea!

Not that easy to tell truthers, I'm reminded of the Churchill quote about how a fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject. That's true in this case. Ignoring is a better option, if no one engages with them then it's going to be much harder for them to push their opinions. Pretty much gave up on the whole thing years back myself, because it's not worth it when you are dealing with individuals who only want to promote their ideas and will not be reasoned with. Better to save the time to have productive discussions.

"Truthers", apparently, are very addictive, particularly to those with a need to see the world in black and white.

While I understand this sentiment, we always come up against the fact that not all people who currently believe CTs are the rabid fanatical types we see so often. More than once we've heard stories like this one, where someone who was just watching one of the "pointless" debates with a fanatic was lead to a better understanding of reality.

While we must realize we'll likely never convert one of the hard core truthers, we also have to realize that those hard core truthers are actively trying to recruit others into their belief structure. If there's no one like us out there providing refutations to the CT nonsense, then that nonsense will be far more effective in recruiting new believers. It's one of those, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil..." things.

Ignore IS the best response to truthers. Without an audience most truthers wither and fade away.

It's not as much fun though.:)

I've got one all lined up on another forum, he's rant and raving about how this place is populated with "lay people" discussing physics and engineering. and trumpeting Gage with his loyal minions having a combined 25000 hours of engineering/architectural experience.

My guess is he came over here and got his ass kicked.

I figure I'm going to try a new tactic and try to discredit the entire twoof movement by using the no plane theory and space beams. Hey, if all debunkers can be in the pocket of the main stream media, then all twoofers can be in the pocket of big twoof. ( Gage )

Most truthers will disperse after a few days of rambling Loose Change scripture! I haven't seen WTC Dust here for a week now! Then again, maybe she's getting ready for her December 1st presentation?

I have seen some of them put up a pretty good fight, cmatrix is the last one I can think of off the top of my head.

I actually like the "good ones" I mean they present arguments I'm incapable of refuting without a whole lot of research, not that I'm in anyway adverse to doing research, but it sure does make for some interesting reading watching those arguments get cut down by people who know their stuff.

I especially appreciate Dave Rogers ( the Monty Python fan from notloB ) and his plain English explanations of how the world works. I owe him beer.

Speaking of troublemakers though, remember that video to that brave twoofer sneaking through Walmart and using the PA system to direct shoppers to PrisonPlanet. ?

Truthers are troublemakers? It is to laugh

Truthers are troublemakers? News to me.

They are, and ever will be, the fringe of the fringe of the fringe. Want to make truthers disappear? Log off of the internet. The only place they are found is in obscure corners of the internet. One has to actively search them out to find them. Troublemakers. Hah!

Hell, I bet even Furries outnumber them by a rather large margin.

YES! I posted that video in the OP!
