Truthers and the FDNY

You insist on framing the question in a most obnoxious way. First, I already posted the quote of a firefighter who described what he saw and heard as bombs and explosions.

What you have failed to do is show me where he later changed his mind. Therefore, his initial report stands.

Try again

So firefighters who say that the fires in WTC7 were huge, or raging infernos, or fully involved or among the largest the FDNY have ever dealt with are correct then?

Yes or no?

You have not shown a single firefighter who thinks there were bombs in the WTC. Not a single one!

So I take it from your quote that you admit no firefighters are on record as claiming there were bombs in the WTC?

To bad that I was "off JREF" last year. Last summer I was in NY. Was I more involved with the debunking at that time, I might have asked the firefighters at Ladder 8 and Engine 10/Ladder 10 how they thought about bombs and demolitions at the WTC.

A little reminder for roundhead, who has resurfaced once again, and seems awful prickly when I mention the despicable insinuations he's made about the FDNY.

First he said this (bolding mine):
Major Mike McCormack a civil air patrol pilot, who was the one who found the US flag in the rubble, and became a toxic air whistleblower(and got harassed for his troubles)....

"McCormack said that around 75% of police, firemen and rescue personnel that he had personally spoke with now believe there is a cover-up pertaining to 9/11 and that many had been threatened that "if they ever open their mouth their pensions are at risk."

Is he a liar?

And then he said this (emphasis mine):
I stated they had been threatened, and posted a quote that supports my contention.

Fairly cut and dry. roundhead contends that members of the FDNY were coerced into silence, thus making them lowlife cowards more interested in salvaging their pensions than seeking justice for the 343 of their own that gave their lives on 9/11.

roundhead, this will be the post I link every time you call me a liar for reminding you what an odious opinion you've expressed about the FDNY. Feel free to address it and explain exactly what you meant in the quotes above if my interpretation is so wildly off base.

Funny how people who willing put their lives at risk everyday...running into burning buildings while everyone else is running out, would succumb so easily to threats...all of them. Not one of them felt the need to speak out...or make money selling their story to the Inquirer.

Perhaps the fireman in the clip below is "in on it" too?

I suggest it was common knowlege with FDNY "grunts" on the ground that day that WTC7 was doomed. So how come the FDNY knew that WTC7 was going to collapse?

Listen to his words guys, this was filmed hours before the building came down.

Why don't Tweeter Redibis Roundhead Christopher7 et al, contact this guy and ask him if he is "in on it"? (he was in company 15 FDNY)

I'm sure he will quite earnest and forthright in his reply.

Bumping for RedIbis.

Not that he'll ever back up his statement, but I enjoy keeping his feet to the fire and watching him dance.

I'm sadistic. :p

I see RedIbis still can't back up his claims, and is ignoring my questions.

Quite the fighter for truth you are Red!

You really can't come up with a short list of possibilities?

And the building really was in danger of collapse without CD and the FDNY, being, you know, professionals, were concerned about that just can't be on YOUR short list, can it?

That would mess with the old world view, wouldn't it?

Is that what you think was the responsibility of the OEM?

It is the responsibility of OEM to deal with ALL emergencies that may arise in New York City. This includes snow storms, hurricanes, flood, black-outs, riots, health-emergencies, water quality issues, and yes....terrorist attacks.

Only a complete idiot..would think that OEM's only job was to deal with terrorist attacks..and was some sort of ideological arm of the Department of Defense and the FBI.

Every city agency had representatives at OEM. Do you know anyone who worked at OEM? I sure do.

Because as Capt. Currid explains, the OEM had passed the word to the street.

And maybe it was the OEM who told firefighters that the "explosions" they heard weren't actually caused by a controlled demolition.

Or perhaps it was the OEM who coerced those firefighters to change their stories after the fact.

I can never remember if RedIbis thinks the FDNY are cowards or just dupes.

Yes we can, but they do not support a CD. This is really simple stuff RedIbis. Either the FDNY knew that the building was going through its death throes and was in danger of imminent collapse..

- or -

The FDNY had foreknowledge of an imminent CD. In that case, why are they covering it up, especially given the fact that they lost 400 of their own that day?

This is not an answer to the question.

The question was:

So how come the FDNY knew that WTC7 was going to collapse?
