Since some truthers, like Turbofan below, are apparently confusing the Obama victory for support for their pathetic, microscopic movement:
If the "majority" of Americans are MIHOP or LIHOP, how did the candidates supporting such theories do? Let's have a look at the only 2 I know who were running for office. First up, POTUS candidate Cynthia McKinney.
How many votes did McKinney receive? Out of about 119,600,000 votes cast Nov. 4 McKinney received about 150,000 - or .125% of the vote. Put more simply, there's only 125 truthers per 100,000 voters - a pathetic number.
Then there's Kevin Barrett, who put on his Guy Fawkes mask to run for Congress in Wisconsin. Prrior to the election, Barrett claimed that 22% of the people n his district were truthers. So what % of the votes did Barrett get? 2%, about the same as every other Libertarian candidate in the district.
Truthers, what happened? Did you all sit home on election day, or could it be that your movement is a fringe group with the support of a tiny percentage of the population? We can agree it's certainly not the majority, yes?
If anyone knows of any other spectacular truther failures at the polls post the results here!
Look at the districts like Florida, Ohio, Penn, etc. Record number of voters
and all. People hate bush and what he did through his term. CNN was calling
the election early.
In Canada, over 80% supported Obama as well. Similar polls taken show that
a majority believe the US Government had knowledge, or was involved in 9/11.
Sorry, I don't make up the results, I just post up the facts.
