Women and men get hurt in sports all the time, although I do agree Lia Thomas hurting someone could have been avoided.

Personally, If a league or team wants to ban it, more power to them, but a complete ban by the government is too much like fascism for my liking.

To be honest, I'd like to see a woman kick the crap out of a transgender man just once, especially if the man is doing it just to beat women up or win prizes because he isn't as strong as or able to compete against other men, but that's just my opinion.

The fact that Thomas was actually taking hormone therapy is widely available in mainstream sources. (This of course leads to all sorts of changes in the body... loss of muscle mass, changes in fat distribution, etc.) Yet you claim he is a "fully intact male", going against all evidence.

This is a skeptics board. You would expect that people here would follow the facts. But the subject of "trans athletes" comes up, and you thrown out the idea of "follow the facts" in favor of throwing out all sorts of debunked nonsense.

Back to the point made before... is it any surprise that house speaker Johnson would continue spouting anti-trans bigotry when even members of this board can get swept up in that type of nonsense?

The trans issue is the gift that keeps on giving for the right, no matter how few people are directly affected by it and how ridiculously they exaggerate and lie about it. Everybody knows what distinguishes men from women, and pretending that reality can be changed by the thoughts in someone's head is just going to make them wonder what else you're stupidly wrong about.

I am usually quite critical of stuff that Stubby McBonespurs does... But I don't have any real complaints about having Poland involved in the G20.

Its economy sits at 21st in the world (according to Wikipedia), which actually puts it higher than Argentina (a country which is a member). Its also a democracy and an active member of the EU and NATO, and its economy is currently growing faster than that of the United States..

And if Russia objects? Well, they should be treated as a pariah state on account of their military action against Ukraine. So who cares what they think?
