Neil Young sues Trump campaign again for playing Rockin' in the Free World at rally
The Canadian-American star alleges that the Trump 47 Committee infringed on his copyright when it played the song before Trump took the stage at a 12 October rally in Ohio. Playing the song amounts to an "unauthorised public performance", the lawsuit says...
The five-page federal lawsuit says that Trump "was personally aware that a licence would be required to play the Song at rallies," and that Young "has not, and would not, grant the required licence". It also says the song has been played "numerous times at other rallies"...
