Trump's Second Term

You clown. There was no AI. The 'terrible words' were all your words.

They broadcast a documentary whose makers had edited together two clips from your speech. And they never showed it in the US. And they didn't let viewers stream it to the US. And yet you're trying to sue for reputational damage in Florida because that was the only jurisdiction that would still let you, such a long time after the show went out.

And as expected it's going really badly.
And all the edit did was cut out the rambly nonsense in between, while preserving the fact that TACO was urging his supporters to violently overthrow the US government.

Reporter: “Were you able to confirm yet that it was a U.S. missile [that hit the girls school in Iran]?”

President Trump: “Who are you with?”

Reporter: “BBC…”

President Trump: “Fake BBC. You mean the ones that put AI in my mouth. The ones that gave me, that had me saying a statement that they now admit was not true? The ones that put terrible words in my mouth and then had to admit that it was fake? The ones that are now being sued for $5B? They’re another fake outfit.”

I see he's forgotten how much he's suing them for.

Federal prosecutors have taken steps to charge ex-Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey with leaking national defence information, according to a court filing...

Few details are provided about the two counts in the three-page filing, but Comey's lawyers said in separate court papers that the case stemmed from an alleged disclosure of classified information to the New York Times in October 2016, while he was head of the FBI...

Comey's lawyer, Patrick Fitzgerald, said in a statement that two different teams of prosecutors had investigated the alleged disclosure to the New York Times a decade ago during the first Trump administration.

"Both times the Government determined that no charges should be brought against anyone," he said...

I suspect he was told Mississippi schools were the most rank in the country, but got it wrong.
<Googles> Mississippi ranked #28 in education, #29 Pre-K-12, #21 in further education.

So, not terrible but below average schools. Blowing smoke. But the crowd cheers in relief, because the monster is not minded to rename their river, for now.

A woman who had accused President Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her in 1993 described it to congressional staff as rape and said the interaction left her bleeding and bruised, according to a report released Monday by Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee examining Trump's ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

Beatrice Keul, a model and former Miss Switzerland, alleged to Judiciary Committee staff that she was raped by Trump in a Plaza Hotel suite in Manhattan when she was 24. Keul said that while attending the American Dream Pageant, which had a partnership with Trump, she met with Trump at a press luncheon at the event.

Trump, according to Keul, promised to arrange her visa in the U.S. and ensure her acceptance into New York University through his friend Paolo Zampolli, a close Trump ally who was, until earlier this month, part of his Administration. At the same event, she also spent at least 10 minutes talking to Epstein who she said claimed to have organized “many parties with Don.”

Later that day, Keul alleges, Trump invited her to a hotel suite where Trump “grabbed Keul from behind and forcibly raped her,” causing “bleeding and bruising on multiple parts of her body,” the report says. Following the incident, Keul alleges Trump made her promise she would keep quiet and repeated his promise for visa and college admission.

'Real anger' erupts inside Trump's White House over key US ally: report

President Donald Trump’s close relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is fueling a civil war inside his administration, as senior officials increasingly weigh the costs of supporting his longtime ally amid the most unpopular war in American history.

A Trump administration official told Semafor Monday that frustration with Netanyahu extends beyond lower-ranking staff and reaches senior levels of the administration.

“At the mid-level and upper levels of the administration, there is not only real frustration, but real anger with Netanyahu’s government,” he said, continuing: “There’s a feeling that they oversold what they could do vis-a-vis Iran, and about how fragile the Iranian regime was. There’s a feeling that we had to bear a lot of the brunt for actually defending Israel.”

Trump has continued to support Netanyahu, even endorsing his embattled reelection campaign. He took it a step further, threatening to withdraw US military support if Bibi doesn’t win.

The next president will face a tough call when it comes to US military aid to Israel, as support for the nation has plummeted across party lines.
I'd say the proper amount of military aid to Israel should be about $0.
