I was going to ask: Is that real? Is that genuinely endorsed by US President Trump?

But then I realised: if I had to ask, that means we out here in the world think he is truly capable of endorsing such lunatic puerile dross. Or that that is what it takes to sooth his fragile wounded ego. That that is what we think could be truly going on in his fetid, fevered, febrile brain.

I hope it's satire. For the sake of the USA, let this be satire!

It's only a matter of a (very short!) time before The POSOTUS claims it got "THE HIGHEST RATINGS EVARRRR!!!" (Like the world has never seen before).

I wonder how they're going to fill the time. I'd love it if the ad algorithm posts nothing but weight loss, Propecia, Viagra, etc. ads.

Here's the latest on the White House TV pool:

When Trump flew back from New York last night, Fox News was the scheduled TV pool crew. But Fox did not film the president’s arrival at Andrews since this decision remains in place: “The TV pool will not be covering events designated as pool coverage of the president.”

The same holds true today. It is NBC’s day as the TV pool. When Trump gives Xi Jinping a red-carpet welcome this evening, the TV pool crew will not be there.

The White House says the arrival ceremony is open to all press, so I’ll be watching to see which media outlets decide to film it, and which do not.

Kennedy on Iran: We have accomplished all of our goals. At some point the president is going to have to decide whether having achieved all of our objectives, it's time to come home and let China and Russia and North Korea and Europe and all of the other countries that refuse to help take a crack at it.
