The comments on X are really too hard on this post, saying 'now the cult is giving trump credit for the weather' etc.
I mean, by dismantling our efforts to combat global warming, trump is at least indirectly responsible for creating the Super El Nino that is directly responsible for the lack of hurricanes this season. So he does deserve credit for that...of course he also should get the blame when millions die from drought, heat, floods etc.

As these things go, it's just tribal pecking order sorting. Trump is the alpha male for him. When the diaper thing is revealed or Trump can't go up AF1 stairs, a new alpha male is quickly needed. But Trump has made sure there isn't one.
