Just saw video from 2024 where Trump criticized Biden for getting Venezuelan oil because it was dirty and bad.

Well, to be fair, a lot of production is now overseas to save on costs.

My sister sent me some photos last week of a street in Glasgow city centre dressed up as Gotham City. The fake snow looked pretty convincing despite the summer heat.

They dressed up the same streets for the last Indiana Jones film and used Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland as a German wartime Castle and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway near me as a German wartime railway.
Part of the last Mission Impossible film was also made on the NYMR.

This sound a lot like a racist trope that's been around for decades.
Muslims are committed to destroying the West, and their religion encourages them to tell whatever lies are necessary to achieve that goal.
(I remember it being directed at Muslim immigrants who were "lying" in order to infiltrate and attack the US from within.)

Pinewood has been used by US filmmakers for decades. It's not just cost that draws them to the UK, its also the technical and acting talent and all English speaking, though that might not be obvious if you're filming in Glasgow...

The United States is, as we speak, striking Iranian Targets near the Strait of Hormuz.
The strikes are large and powerful, and in retaliation for the Iranians' failed attempt at adding sea mines to the Strait, which currently has no mines (They have been completely removed or detonated!), and the Iranians shooting eight missiles, all successfully knocked down, at our Military Base in Jordan.
If the failed Nation of Iran retaliates for this very justified attack, they will be hit again at a much harder and higher level, but it will not be the biggest attack of them all, that is waiting in the wings and, when it is over, there will be very little left of the Islamic Republic of Iran!
