Trump's Second Term

Trump: South Korea has been protected by us for many, many years. When I called recently, the president of South Korea and I said, “Would you like to give us a little hand?” We don’t need help with Iran, but if you’d like, give us a hand with Iran. He said, “No, thanks.” And I said, “Wait a minute. We have 39,000 soldiers over there guarding you from Kim Jong-un, your next door…”

We can't go around and protect all of these countries, especially when they're not there to help us

Trump can't bring Iran to heel. Now it looks like Oman could make a deal with their neighbour, Trump threatens to bomb that friendly nation instead.

What a piece of garbage he is. It's going to take a generation at least to restore America's standing in the world after this walking catastrophe is gone.

If there are any non-aligned nations out there, the message is loud and clear: America is not your friend. China meanwhile is smiling its most beguiling smile. Do you need some infrastructure built? Maybe to help transport your extracted mineral wealth? Towards, say, a country in Asia?

If there are any US-aligned nations out there: America is not your friend either. All dealings are transactional. There will be no pretence that this is not so.

Byron, what damage did Biden cause to the US military? It was going along pretty good, as we recall. It was still the highest funded military in the world, even then. Plenty of munitions too.

The only difference seems to be now it is led by a geriatric mob boss and a testicle-obsessed martinet, who have grossly mistreated their personnel and wasted hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars on an unwinnable war. While Trump chickened out in a catering truck.

So you don't just look stupid saying stuff like that. You are making yourself an accomplice to gross criminal negligence. Perhaps you should rethink you career? Like, immediately?
