He's giving car companies the "right" to make cars that they aren't currently making because there aren't enough people in the US who actually want them for it to be profitable, while pretending he's doing them a big favor.

Doesn't everyone remember the Carter administration's Anti Tiny Car law of 1678? Yes, sir! That was yet another Dumocrat policy that Trump is now proud to get rid of. People have been coming up to him and saying "Sir, we should really build tiny cars like you saw in Europe. They are so much softer than Silverados." Big men, with tears in their eyes...from being run over by Silverados.


It's not certain how much longer this insanity is going to be tolerated by the general public.

Trump: We will pass the great healthcare plan. That's what it's called—the Great Healthcare plan to stop all payments to big insurance companies and give the money directly to you, the people, so that they can buy their own healthcare, which will be much less expensive and be a much better healthcare

Ehh... that's part of it, but misses a bunch? For example, historically, bigger vehicles like SUVs have been the most profitable for car companies overall, given the potential customer base, and thus they've employed a variety of tactics to funnel people into buying them to maximize their profits. Demand for tiny cars in the US has apparently been growing anyways, especially lately, partially in response to higher gas prices, alongside an increasing desire for electric vehicles and the infrastructure to support them. With that said, it's likely still relatively niche and certainly still suffers from the same range issues that have greatly limited their desirability in the US all along. With that said, I'm suspicious that Trump's announcement might be directly related to this recent thing, though, given the timing -

I agree. People just don't understand how much work I have had to put in to become a run-of-the-mill idiot, buffoon, cad and maroon! I was a born genius, and it took many years of dumbing (duming?) down to get where I am today!
