This is one of my biggest fears. Like the Iraqi forces lighting Kuwati oil wells as they retreated, trump might use his final year to sabotage as much as he can in a vain attempt to prevent any future president from eclipsing his legacy.

I said before his inauguration that Trump was far too much like Stillson to be good news, right down to phrases used and the wearing of a hard hat at rallies.

My own big problem with both Top GUn movies is that anybody who defies his superior officers and disobeys order the way Maverick does in the movies would be very quickly grounded.The Navy and The Air Force have no place for pilots, however good fliers they might be, who cannot obey simple orders like, in the first film, not makind a sonic boom.
