The remedial work won't be completed during Trump's presidency. That's why he tried it out now, before it gets taken away. He'll make sure the funds are allocated of course, but it won't be useable again until it's his private jet I mean it's handed over to his presidential library for some weird reason and he gets the exclusive use of it for even weirder reasons.
