My first response to that is that they really like recycling that fake tough guy face. Some people can do it well, but Trump's version just makes him look like a poser. Admittedly, that's fairly certainly because it really was nothing more than him playing pretend without actually grasping the emotion all along. That they keep trotting it out despite how easily that can be seen can be read into much more deeply, I think.
