I think Anchor Babies are sort of a uninteded consquence. but is it really worth the time and trouble of amending the Constituiton to fix?
BTW the most famous Anchor Baby is probably Nicole Kidman. She was born in Hawaii when her Aussie parently, on vacation in Hawaii had her a few weeks prematurely.

For what it’s worth, I think Australia has a sensible system. If one parent is an Australian citizen, so is the newly born. If not, that child can become a citizen after 10 years.
