I have entirely run out of cringe. Stocks have dwindled as it's being used up at an inconceivable rate right now.

Trump's "draining the swamp" has always been an effort to concentrate the bad parts of the swamp by removing the cleaner things, after all. It's no surprise that it would end up worse.
With that said, the official announcement about what's going on there is apparently that it's normal, that it is mostly algae that had built up in the feeding pipes during the work on the pool, and that they're now using multiple methods to address the algae directly and prevent it from returning.
Can't say that I'm impressed or particularly trusting of the official announcement, as a general matter, but meh. Hopefully, they'll get it actually cleaned up soon enough, and we can move onto more serious matters. At least, that's what I wish would happen, but this is the Trump Administration. They'll be spreading lies, BS, corruption, and inanity as a matter of course anyways. Hardly the first time I've wished for this nightmare to end.
That just looks like another admission that he and the Republican Party are actively working to rig elections in their favor.

He's already made comments about how the Eiffel Tower was originally meant to be temporary but 'they decided they kind of liked it', aside from the fact that it was a unique achievement (the tallest man made structure for about four decades) and not dropped directly in front of another landmark, the tower happened to coincide with the early days of radio communication making a really, really tall tower in their capital city very useful.
