Trump's Second Term

His handlers don't want American casualties or ships damaged, they arescared that the American public won't stand for it. They want other countries to join in and do the dangerous bit.

Also sunk American ships would show that Donald is telling lies about winning, but if foreign warships get sunk they can be given the blame.

The USA did support us over the Falklands. They rushed the latest version of Sidewinders to the fleet and gave other logistics support.
Us Navy carrier aircraft took part in air combat exercises with the task force on the way down acting as an aggressor force.
They also shared Sigint and satellite imaging.

I am sure the UK is sharing intelligence and other assistance, which is different to what he wants, which is for the UK to also attack Iran.
 
If totalitarian China had demanded to see all of your social media content as a condition of entry, people would immediately recognise how creepy and sinister it is.

But when America does it. Oh, no, wait. When Trump's totalitarian America does it, everyone instantly recognises how creepy and sinister it is.

It's a really crazy time. It's not that long ago that anyone suggesting a sitting US President might plan to erect giant golden statues of himself would be laughed out of the room. It would be a stupid joke. But now the stupid joke is literally sitting in the oval office.

It's not long ago when a candidate who had sex with stormy Daniels would be immediatley dropped. With Michael Dukakis driving a tank was enough to lose an election. That does put an odd spin on things. You cannot drop a candidate the year of the election. You always lose there. But the tank would have been enough for me. Some candidates lost due to fake news. John kerry Swift Boat.

Remember all the talk about how arrogant and self congratulating Obama was? Republicans mocked him for calling it "Obamacare" even though they were the ones who coined the term and Democrats just tried to elan into it to work for their purposes? Remember when he was called a "dictator" for helping people purchase health insurance? Remember when he was called an "elitist" because he liked fancy mustard on his hamburger?

They’re still making those same arguments, unironically calling Obamacare “the most notably fascist thing to occur in my lifetime” as Trump’s secret police terrorize communities and murder American citizens.
