Trump showed off more sexist attitude... following the gold medal game, trump called the men's hockey team...

For the first time in 46 years, the United States has a gold medal winner in men's hockey.... The moment couldn't pass without U.S. president Donald Trump getting in on the fun, giving the team a celebratory...but some are unhappy with what they heard on the call. Team USA also celebrated with Trump-appointed FBI director Kash Patel... Trump also invited the team to Tuesday's State of the Union address, an invitation the players immediately accepted. It was a comment about inviting the women's team that rubbed some on social media the wrong way. "I must tell you, we're going to have to bring the women's team, you do know that? I do believe I would probably be impeached"...the women's team politely declined the invitation...
Lots of stuff going on here...
- The fact that his FBI director was at the olympics. (he claimed he was there on "official business" but people are a bit... skeptical)
- Dissing the women's team. (In addition to making Trump's invitation to the women's team seem like an afterthought, I don't think he called them after they won the gold.)
Its a shame that the women's team declined the invitation "politely". but hopefully it was seen as Trump getting dissed for his actions.
Can't imagine the NHL is too happy with the player reactions... by the players being so eager to cosy up to Trump, they risk alienating women fans, as well as Canadian fans. NHL: "We want to be inclusive. By the way, our players are cool with Trump treating women as second class"
