In his Thanksgiving rant, Trump said US Ground Actions againt Venenzuela will begin "Very soon" I always thought the SOB would get us into a war. His kind always does.
And Trump keeps going back and fourth on 2028. I suspect he is doing it just to rile people up.

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida (AP) — President Donald Trump said Friday that he will be pardoning former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez, who in 2024 was convicted for drug trafficking and weapons charges and sentenced to 45 years in prison.

The president explained his decision on social media by posting that “according to many people that I greatly respect,” Hernandez was “treated very harshly and unfairly.”

In March of last year, Hernandez was convicted in U.S. court of conspiring to import cocaine into the U.S.A. He had served served two terms as the leader of the Central American nation of roughly 10 million people.

So, the lesson is that drug trafficking is just fine if you're on the right, but not if you're on the left. As long as you're an ally, you can send as much cocaine into the U.S. as you want.

Of course, if he's questioned on this, I'm sure his mouthpieces will be right there to remind us that Hernandez was railroaded by the corrupt Biden courts and DOJ.

Not too much different from Trump's first Administration? There was much lip service about how much they were doing to fight human and drug trafficking and much action to enable it.
 
So what makes one alleged drug smuggler a narco-terrorist you can kill out of hand, while another convicted drug smuggler gets a pardon for being harshly treated?

I know Hegseth wants his killers to ignore stuff like rules of engagement but how are they supposed to know which are the evil drug smugglers to blow up and which are the nice drug smugglers to let go?

Obviously: whether they are Trump's special friends. There is no good and evil, there is no right or wrong, there is only what Trump wants or doesn't want. And the military exists to serve at his whim. Questioning that is treasonous and deserves the death penalty. He said so himself.

The Autopen is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the President of the United States.
