Money makes sense as a motive for Trump, as he is easily distracted by money and shiny objects, but Biden, Obama, Bush, Clinton? They have been willing to walk away from money if the optics were bad enough. But when it comes to the Saudis, they fold like cheap suits.

It's just weird that we have been backing these guys for decades when all the reasons why are crap. But a huge diversion from the topic of the thread. One of my personal little issues.

They said sir, if George Washington and Abraham Lincoln came back from the dead and they aligned and they went for the president and vice president as a combination you would be beating them by 25 points. The next day I was told something strange is happening. There is a lot of death being reported in a certain country. I won't tell you which one because that country is well represented here but you know which one. Thousands and thousands of people are dying. I said that's strange. Turned out to be a disaster for the world. Nothing has been seen like that since 1917

Everything has to be about him. Obviously. And it doesn't matter if whatever he rambles about is utterly irrelevant to the situation where he's making an address. It's whatever dumb stuff is on his mind right now, so you're going to hear it.

Thus whatever you think you turned up for, you're going to hear instead about one of his kids graduating from university 5 years ago and that the ceremony got cancelled. And he's completely certain they didn't cancel the event because of a mere global pandemic, just like a million other events all over the world were cancelled. It must be because they wanted to annoy him. Because everything is about him. And they're lucky he doesn't take any of it personally. He's forgotten all about it. He barely even makes speeches about it, he's so unconcerned. He could give you a list of grudges he definitely doesn't bear. A huge list. The bigliest beautiful list of burning resentments he doesn't give even a moment's thought to.
