Trump's Second Term

That's a no then.

O'DONNELL: If President Xi moves militarily on Taiwan, would you order US forces to defend it?

TRUMP: You'll find out if it happens

O'DONNELL: Why not say it?

TRUMP: I can't give away my secrets

I haven't been paying terribly close attention, but I can't recall any President or Administration announcing that the US would use US forces to defend Taiwan if China attacked it. In fact, US policy since the '70s has been keeping China guessing what the US would do if China attacked Taiwan. So, why do you think this is a flex on Trump?

In the next election, many polling places in blue PURPLE states will be closed due to a "national emergency," the emergency being that Schitler won't get elected unless they do this. They won't need any dunderheads.
Fixed that for you. It's the purple states like Virginia with gerrymandered Republican legislatures where the fraud will be focused.

New Sheriff.
Massive Red State Fraud

Secretary Brooke Rollins
@SecRollins
On my first day @USDA, we told every state to send us their SNAP data so we could make sure illegal immigrants aren’t getting benefits meant for American families. 29 states stepped up. 21 blue states refused — and two SUED US FOR ASKING! 🤦🏻‍♀️

And guess what? In just the states that cooperated, we’ve already uncovered massive fraud.

The Democrat Party has turned its back on working Americans and built its entire strategy around protecting illegal aliens. They know if the handouts stop, those illegals will go back home, and Democrats will lose 20+ seats after the next census.

There’s a new sheriff in town. @POTUS will not tolerate waste, fraud, or abuse while hardworking Americans go hungry.

If you can't starve 'em, freeze 'em!

Government shutdown threatens to delay home heating aid for millions of low-income families

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Jacqueline Chapman is a retired school aide who relies on a $630 monthly Social Security check to get by. She was navigating the loss of her federal food aid benefits when she learned the assistance she receives for heating her Philadelphia apartment may also be at risk.

“I feel like I’m living in scary times. It’s not easy to rest when you know you have things to do with limited accounts, limited funds. There isn’t too much you can do,” said Chapman, 74.

Chapman relies on the $4.1 billion Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, which helps millions of low-income households pay to heat and cool their homes.

With temperatures beginning to drop in areas across the United States, some states are warning that funding for the program is being delayed because of the federal government shutdown, now in its fifth week.
The anticipated delay comes as a majority of the 5.9 million households served by the federally funded heating and cooling assistance program are grappling with the sudden postponement of benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, which helps about 1 in 8 Americans buy groceries. Money is running out for other safety net programs as well and energy prices are soaring.

I was thinking (with obviously dangerous and silly results of course, but anyway...) We keep hearing that we need a "compromise" of some sort to end the government shutdown, so here's my suggestion. The Democrats say they'll give in on the health care issue on one condition: that the Republican leadership publicly announce that their arguments against the Democrats, such as those about subsidizing illegal aliens, and the false numbers they have bandied about, are lies. Various other obvious lies could be added to the list or not. The only requirement here would be that Mike Johnson, on behalf of the whole party, with no irony and no walkback and no excuses, publicly confesses that his party has attempted to carry the day with lies, and that the word "lies" be explicitly used. Admit that your argument is a lie, and if you still can find a good reason to promote it, we'll bend.

Of course they wouldn't do it, no way. But if Schumer or other Democratic leaders had the balls to make that demand publicly, and to use the explicit word "lies," which has so far been underused, perhaps it would at least get some people talking.

Of course it's crazy too. But why not be crazy too?

Nothing else seems to be working, so why not?

Lies? In politics? I'm *shocked*! Shocked, I tell you! I'm certain you have correctly identified the Party and people responsible for this shocking development and sided with those who stand for truth and morality, people who never would tell a lie or fudge a fact for political gain!

I never said that some politicians don't lie, but I also don't buy the bothsidedism that anything goes because they all do it. It is possible, sometimes, to deal with one thing at a time. The fact remains that in this particular issue, as in many others, the argument on one side is blatantly, egregiously dependent on dishonesty, not just for amplification but for substance.

Sure, crime is crime, and none of it is good. But that does not mean it's all the same. There's a difference between someone who steals from your garden and someone who burns down your house.

Bothsidedisim.:ROFLMAO:

"Chicago is the most Dangerous City in the World!" "The 2020 election was stollen!" "We turned on The Tap and saved Los Angeles!" "Climate change is A Hoax!!" "There is no inflation!" "No other president has stopped a War!!"

"I'm going to lower you taxes and give you free health care."

Hmm, which one of these . . ?

FBI Director Kash Patel, who permanently resembles a deer in headlights, fires 27-year FBI veteran over his use of FBI jets to see his girlfriend.

The FBI forced out a senior official overseeing aviation shortly after Director Kash Patel grew outraged about revelations of his publicly-available jet logs indicating he’d flown to see his musician girlfriend perform, said three people familiar with the situation.

Steven Palmer, a 27-year veteran of the FBI, became the third head of the critical incident response group—which includes FBI pilots—to be fired or removed in Patel’s short regime, adding to a year filled with retributive terminations.

His exit was made official Friday, and a replacement to head the bureau’s crisis management operations including hostage rescue and bomb detection, has already been posted on the FBI’s website.

Patel was angered this week by social media posts and news stories calling attention to his use of an FBI jet that arrived in State College, Pennsylvania, where his girlfriend, country music artist Alexis Wilkins, sang the national anthem at a wrestling match, said the individuals, who spoke anonymously out of fear of retaliation.

Palmer was told he needed to immediately resign or be fired, which the individuals said was at least partially connected to Patel’s fury over the negative media cycle on his personal travel.

Palmer’s position included supervising the FBI’s aviation units, but Patel’s flight schedule was readily traceable through online tracking services and he reposted photos of himself with Wilkins at the event on his personal X account.

The people familiar with the matter said they were baffled as to why Patel might’ve blamed Palmer for the travel details.

Only a complete fruitcake would make that claim.

Barack Obama (2009-2017):

"If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan, period."

"I will close Guantanamo Bay detention center."

Healthcare premiums would decrease by $2,500 for the typical family under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

"Ending the War in Iraq" (completely).

Lyndon B. Johnson (1963-1969)

The U.S. would not commit a large number of combat troops to Vietnam.

The essential, core point of what you are discussing is that illegal immigrants are in the US illegally. ICE is an official government agency tasked with preventing illegal border crossings and removing people who are in the US illegally. Obstructing that function is a felony. Whatever lies the Trump Administration uses to argue for removing illegal immigrants doesn't change these facts.

Like with the Taliban?
The Taliban is far more entrenched than Boko Haram is. I wouldn't think I'd need to point out how difficult Afghanistan in general is for outside militaries.
How many years will it take?
Hard to say. Boko Haram is just a small piece of a much bigger problem. Even if we eliminate them, the people are apt to form some other abusive group. It's really a societal and cultural issue. That, and a violent expression of Islam by bandits and thugs and a compliant political structure. BTW, guns are outlawed highly restricted and regulated.

Donald Trump is the lyingest liar that ever lied, and it's not even close. To deny and deflect from this fact is as dishonest as he is.
That may be so, but he isn't wrong about illegal immigrants being illegal. He's President, the people who voted him into office want somebody to fix that problem.
