Trump's Second Term

I'm sure Trump believes he's not campaigning to get the prize. Constantly whining about Obama getting it and boasting about stopping innumerable wars and pondering whether they might give it to him don't count. Only asking them directly to give it to him counts and he hasn't done that.

If you told him his begging for the prize was unseemly he would be offended and disbelieving that you could think he was doing so. It's just how his egomania works. Of course he can talk constantly about whether he'll win it. That's not asking for it, so it can't be crass.

Sure. Given their usual pattern, though, it was pretty easy to understand as simple projection of what they are doing and want to do, not the reality of what those they accuse do or have done. Once one got past treating their constant blatantly false claims across the gamut as if they should be treated as normal honest claims, at least. That's bearing in mind that people can be very mistaken while they're honest. At some point, there's no good reason to keep treating it as mistakes, though. Sorta like when the group of people who are most guilty of grooming, by far, screamed about how gay people are the real groomers with incredibly flimsy arguments and repetition and when the people who lead the screaming about indoctrination are the people pushing faith school indoctrination and the like. There was nothing actually honest about that.

WASHINGTON — New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat who has clashed with President Donald Trump, was indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury in Virginia, three sources familiar with the matter confirmed to NBC News.

James was charged with one count of bank fraud after Trump publicly called for his Justice Department appointees to bring charges against her.

As NBC News reported in August, Attorney General Pam Bondi appointed a special attorney to probe mortgage fraud allegations against the New York attorney general, who brought a successful civil fraud case against President Donald Trump before he retook the presidency.

Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte had referred the case to the Justice Department, alleging that James had made false statements on mortgage loan applications. But the case hit a standstill last month because federal agents and prosecutors didn't believe they had the evidence to secure a conviction, two senior federal law enforcement officials told NBC News last month.

And meanwhile, Letitia James is indicted. Her crime? Renting out a property when she told a loaner bank she was gonna keep the residence herself. The horrors! If that is something worth prosecuting, then Trump's DOJ should go after 9/10 of his cabinet and most of his family as well. Or maybe he should just proclaim himself Supreme Leader and stop the facade.
