Really? It clearly says there has been a shooting at an ICE facility. Doesn't say who shot who. At this time.

But to my point, Christie "Dog Killer" Noem wants violence against ICE to stop. So how much of it has there been so far? Plenty of documented ICE-inflicted violence on others though.

It's in your quote ! While we don’t know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them.

If this was indeed an attack on ICE, it's a really stupid and sick thing to do. No matter how much I hate what Schitler and his thugs are doing with ICE, violence isn't going to make them stop. It also plays into their hands (e.g., Charlie Kirk).

Your post made me realize how desensitized I am now. In normal times, or even the 1st Trump term, I would've felt massive second hand embarrassment from either speech due to being from the country that elected this guy. Now... its just another day of the week ending in Y.

Or the shooter was deliberately targeting the detainees because after all the fact they've been detained by ICE 'proves' they're thieves and rapists who've been emptied out foreign insane asylums and sent to the US illegally....

Because what else could it have been when of course everything is about him. How dare ABC defy him as he so clearly supposes they must have done somehow? Umm. What was it Kimmel did again? Anyway, whatever it was is an insult he's just not gonna take and he's gonna sue them all.

I want to preface this by saying that I completely and wholeheartedly agree with what you're saying in that there is no reason to resort to violence. I feel like I say this a lot, and it should be known I'm not just trying to be a contrarian.

While I absolutely don't condone it, I understand it. Some of these people lose their kids, spouses of decades with little to no warning and I can understand the emotional distress that would lead someone to do something like this. Again, I'm not saying it's right, but I've seen V for Vendetta...people can only be pushed so far before they view violence as the only answer. Some of these people have followed the rules to be here their whole lives only to be upended by a Trumpian temper tantrum. Some of these people even voted for him. It's a crazy timeline.
