Rights which are clearly SO horrible that it's better to support a party openly calling for all women to become second class citizens rather than maybe allow a few people those rights.

I was just discussing that with my (more) liberal wife, in relation to another appropriate thread--the Kirk murder. I personally tend to agree with 'Conservative' principles such as "biological men should not compete in women's sports"
Issues like that should at least be debatable. The problem is that the right has made these issues their rallying cry against what they portray as an army of transexuals brainwashing their kids into getting sex change operations behind their backs. It's a matter of proportionality and reasonableness.
Trump is the champion of harvesting that disproportionality.

That's what the rest of the civilized world is forced to do thanks to America's disastrously stupid choice of leader. And they have every right, even an obligation, to criticize America and Americans loudly for what they have carelessly wrought on the rest of us.

The US voters made this mess the rest of the world has to deal with it as best they can. As detestable as Trump is he is still the US President and one with an ego that needs to be stroked to at least slow down the rate of stupid/malicious things he does.

Probably maybe slow them a bit, but as we've seen, no matter how deep you fellate him, or how often, he still won't love you.
 
Trump does not tie his own tie, but Charles! This is embarrassing. Trump's tie was not very neatly done, but King Charles, in Windsor castle, uses a four in hand, not even a half Windsor.
