Trump's Second Term

Charles Kirk, the guy who said a patriot should bail out the guy who tried to kill Paul Pelosi in his own home with a hammer?
The guy who used every shooting to justify gun ownership?

But remember, it's the libs who are the bad guys for merely saying that violence is not acceptable but pointing out that Charles Kirk died as a result of the hatred that he made a living out of stoking.

President Trump said in part, "From the attack on my life in Butler, Pennsylvania last year, which killed a husband and father, to the attacks on ICE agents, to the vicious murder of a healthcare executive in the streets of New York, to the shooting of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise and three others, radical left political violence has hurt too many innocent people and taken too many lives." I do not see Paul Pelosi's or Melissa Hortman's name in this list.

Every accusation...

Trump spoke in a normal voice at 9-11 event. Before that he was half asleep with a face drooping to one side.

Don't think that was written by Trump.

He approved disaster aid for Wisconsin and South Dakota because he won in those states, he says so.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonald Trump.
I just informed Senator Ron Johnson that, based on his request, I am approving $29.8 Million Dollars for the wonderful State of Wisconsin to help them recover from the major storms and flooding they experienced in August. We had Huge Victories in Wisconsin in 2016, 2020, and 2024, and it is my Honor to deliver BIG for Wisconsinites!

Donald J. Trump
@realDonald Trump.
I just got off the phone with our wonderful Republican Leader John Thune. I am approving over $500,000 for the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate Tribe in the Great State of South Dakota for the terrible Storms and Flooding they endured in June. I love the people of South Dakota, who voted for me in Historic Margins in 2016, 2020, and 2024. Together, we will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

A new psychological study has found that people who report favorable views of Donald Trump also tend to score higher on measures of callousness, manipulation, and other malevolent traits—and lower on empathy and compassion. The findings, based on two large surveys of U.S. adults, shed light on how personality traits relate to political beliefs, including support for Trump and conservative ideology. The research was recently published in the Journal of Research in Personality.
Malevolent personality traits—sometimes called “dark” traits—include tendencies such as manipulativeness, callousness, narcissism, and a lack of empathy. These traits are often captured by concepts like psychopathy, Machiavellianism, and narcissism, which together reflect a general disposition toward exploiting or disregarding others for personal gain.

Shocker.

It tells you all that the killing of a far right hatemonger is seen as a possible trigger for civil war, but the killing of a Democratic lawmaker and their husband is not.
Trigger not cause. Two different things.
We don't know that until his killer is caught and explains their motive. It could have been a personal grudge unrelated to politics entirely, for all we know now.
What ? Wait until we know the facts before makiing a judgement? What a shocking idea!
As for possible motive he could have been just plains nuts.

Yet another study from the N.S. Sherlock Institute of Obvious Results.

Hard to protect oneself from a sniper 200 yards away.

One of the better ways would have been to... register and put restrictions on military-like gun access. Something that quite a few "liberals" have supported.

Ehh. I'm just going to say that this is not really news. It's long been known that self-identified "conservatives" score significantly higher than self-identified "liberals" on the Dark Triad on average... and that "conservatives" are the primary supporters of Trump. It would be far more of a surprise to see a different result, not least because of how overtly the Republican Party puts its desires to exploit and disregard others for personal gain on display. With that said, it's also one of those highly relevant things that their propagandists pointedly ignore as they try to pretend that "liberals" are "the" bad people trying to exploit and hurt "conservatives" and that that's all there is that's worth knowing there. The molehill beside them is what matters, not the deadly mountain they're being led onto by those who keep directing their attention towards the molehill.

ANy rifle could make that shot. It doesn't have to be a military one.
