Giving every district a veto. If you combine that with gerrymandering to concentrate opposition votes in fewer districts it seems like no partisan petition could ever have a chance of going anywhere.

It's the sort of thing that makes me assume there must be some particular thing they're trying to frustrate with this but I have no idea what it might be.

It's safer to just say that they're trying to remove the ability of the people to get the legislation they want legally. The controlling factions in the Republican Party can be said to fundamentally be all about concentrating as much power into as few hands as they can. Initiatives like these are something that they've been working to make harder and harder and harder across the nation for quite a while now. After all, they keep being used for such anti-Republican goals as trying to accept health care related federal funds that the Republicans have been preventing their states from receiving and allowing people to get back their right to vote. Not that the Republicans stop their evil and unlawful obstructions even when things like that pass, of course.

It's not like we couldn't see this coming. He encouraged cops to "not be too nice" when making arrests. He wants to give them full immunity, but he's not a fascist or anything.

If you can't research, don't recognize bias, haven't heard of a logical fallacy, and don't know how propaganda works, you have failed the basic requirements for an adult voter, in my opinion.
