The report that @DNIGabbard just released is conceivably one of the biggest scandals in American history. The Obama Administration organizing the illegal surveillance of a sitting president and pushing a lie that fractured our country.

There needs to be prosecution and arrests. This is not Democrat vs. Republican, but about the health and sanctity of our constitutional republic. This cannot go unchecked. Although I am not a part of the judicial branch, as a part of the legislative branch Congress can hold hearings as well as bring people in to help present the facts to the American people.

I want to be clear that not all Democrats are bad. However, when this level of corruption occurs at the highest levels of government— especially involving some of their most prominent elected leaders— it reflects poorly on the party’s values as a whole, and it should be condemned by the Democratic Party.

She may very much regret the outcomes if such a prosecution comes before the courts or Congress. Facts are stubborn things.

Is there even an "original six" in baseball?

There is an original 6 in NHL hockey (teams that existed before the 1960s expansion, but even they aren't necessarily "original" since some of the 'original 6' weren't even teams when the NHL formed.) But I didn't think major league baseball had such a 'core' set of teams that they could say "these are the original 6".

Could stubby mcbonespurs be confusing the NHL with baseball?

No. The first National League season in 1876 had 8 teams, though after two teams were expelled from the league, there were 6 teams in 1877 and 1878. None of these teams were in Cleveland. When the American League declared itself to be a major league in 1901, there was a Cleveland team, but they didn't adopt the "Indians" name until 1914.

One of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers claimed she met Donald Trump in the convicted pedophile’s New York office in what was described as a “troubling encounter,” according to a report.

Artist Maria Farmer said she urged the FBI to look into people in the disgraced financier’s social circle, including the president, after the alleged encounter in the 90s, she told The New York Times.


Farmer and her younger sister Annie, who testified at Ghislaine Maxwell’s 2021 sex trafficking trial, have spoken publicly about their ordeal with Epstein before. But her account now sheds light on how the Epstein files could contain material that is “embarrassing or politically problematic” to the president, the Times reports.
One night, she received an unexpected call from Epstein, who requested she come by his offices in Manhattan.

According to Farmer’s account to the Times, Trump was there and “started to hover over her.”

Farmer said that “she recalled feeling scared as Mr. Trump stared at her bare legs,” the newspaper reported. “Then Mr. Epstein entered the room, and she recalled him saying to Mr. Trump: ‘No, no. She’s not here for you.’” Epstein and Trump then left the room, according to Farmer, and she claimed she heard Trump comment that he thought she was 16 years old.

Huh? If it was the Obama Administration that means Obama was still the president. Trump was not the sitting president until Jan 20 2017 after he was sworn in. The only administration that could perform surveillance on Trump as a sitting president would have been the Trump admin.

We know the logic fails, but MAGA will eat it up faster then Trump can down a bucket of KFC

The Deep State is a machine that Democratic administrations can wind up and let run havoc for years afterwards.

At any rate, I thought Presidents could do whatever they want and not go to jail for it? Presidential immunity for me but not for thee, I suppose?
