He's the one who won't stop talking about Epstein.

And now Maxwell's lawyers are going to be raising hell with Trump. Why NOW, I'm not sure, but her lawyers said the feds promised not to prosecute her way back when Epstein made his plea agreement so she shouldn't be incarcerated. Conceivable he gets to be the one to let her out of custody. Or she gets immunity to tell all. I have no idea. I don't even know what "fake" DJT letter Donald is talking about.

OK, got it: He supposedly wrote a risqué birthday note to Epstein in 2003. Why this would be surfacing only now is unclear. I think maybe some organizations have been holding some things back to give him the benefit of the doubt. Now they have a big enough "hook" to revive it.

And they are signaling they won't protect him any more? I don't know.

Grand jury records would not ordinarily be released. It may be illegal to release them. Trump could argue that it's not illegal to release them to the president, or that it's necessary for national security. It's virtue-signaling to MAGA that he is still fighting for transparency, trying to get hidden records released,

I don't know if that will fly. Posters at r/conservative are still pretty mad at him. They think he is protecting thousands of pedophiles. It makes some MAGA double-down in favor of Trump. The more cerebral conservatives realize Tump was never a conservative.

I think it's a distraction, the court refuses to release the GJ records and then Trump blames the Judge for not letting him release anything.
 
The switch to whatever are the "grand jury" papers is very telling. Previously I was of the opinion there would have been a lot of hearsay and the like in "the files", nothing that people didn't already know and could have worked out with ten minutes search through "Hello" and "OK" archives. But this switch does mean there is stuff that worries either Trump about himself or other republicans and folk. At the moment Trump is taking personal hits, if this continues those other folk should be very worried, Trump won't hesitate to throw them under a bus. In fact he'll drive the bus - if he could drive.

So long as the bus has hydrolics to lower it to the curb, we've seen how much trouble he has getting into anything bigger than a golf cart.

The Wall Street Journal printed a FAKE letter, supposedly to Epstein. These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don't draw pictures. I told Rupert Murdoch it was a Scam, that he shouldn't print this Fake Story. But he did, and now I'm going to sue his ass off, and that of his third rate newspaper.
