Trump's Second Term

Bad and evil person!

REPORTER: Families are upset because warnings didn't go out in time. What do you say to those families?

TRUMP: Well I think everyone did an incredible job under the circumstances. This was a one in 1,000 years. Only a bad person would ask a question like that. Only an evil person would ask a question like that.

It took about 30 seconds for me to find out about the flooding history of the river in question.

"The Guadalupe River has experienced major flooding more than a dozen times in the last century, with notable events in 1932 and 1987."

So it averages out to more like 120+ times in a thousand years.

But even if it was true that there was no way anyone could have known the danger, a psychologically normal person would have expressed sorrow and said he understood the grief of those who'd lost loved ones, many of them young children. But he doesn't understand. He's a full-on sociopath who feels nothing for anyone. He's pissed off not just by the accusation that his gutting of public services might have contributed to this tragedy, and represent a warning of tragedies to come, but by the very expectation that he be required to even pretend that he gives a ◊◊◊◊ about any of those dead people and their families. As he's sitting there, I'm sure he's bored and thinking about how soon he can get to a golf course.

Donald's post about Rosie
Remember this is the President of the USA.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonald Trump

Because of the fact that Rosie O'Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship. She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Apparently the MAGAs say he's just doing it to troll the radical left Democrats. It's for the lolz.

He's supposed to be the ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ president.

I seem to recall people excusing how insanely corrupt and unpresidential Trump was in his first term by citing... Obama participating in March Madness. All the rules for being Presidential (for Republican Presidents) were tossed out already, right, because of how horrible Obama was for participating in March Madness. :rolleyes:

Nah, we're past that point. The dog whistles are starting to gather dust.
It's been less dog whistling and more fog horn at least since Trump was elected. Subtlety has long been largely tossed out the window. Open admission is the utterly unsurprising next step.

What have those drowned children ever done for him?

I'm expecting him to stand next to parents who lost their child/children in the flood, smile, and give a big "thumbs up".
